Outlander 7/10 pretty kewl movie but sometimes little weird.

Thick as thieves, some big name actors but I didnt feel anything with this movie.. 6/10

Bourne Identity - 7/10

Of course I watched it back then but a few days ago I rewatched it and was surprised at how much I didn't remember... and how little actually happened in the film. It's a well done movie, very professional, but maybe the relative lack of substance made me feel a tiny bit disappointed in the end, hence the not entirely top rating. Like making salami out of a thoroughbred horse. It might have been a magnificent stallion but there won't be many sausages. How on earth did I come up with that example.

Underworld 3 : was pretty good , all be it the story told in the second one :slap:

The Wrestler : Now any movie where Patricia Arquet has her popadoms out dancing sexily is a winner. Mickey Rourke was great. I even recognised some of the wrestlers. The film reminded me of Rocky 1 a bit, not the action sequences but the backdrops and feel to the movie. This was raw this movie. A bit depresing and slow and I really felt for Rourkes charecter, the ending is one of those make it up for yourself things, but its pretty clear what happens. Now this movie is to be watched with attention unlike underworld. It is depresing but in a good way. If Rourke wins an Oscar it is deserved, I have no doubt he will waste all cash earned from the movie and die as a result

. Good thought provoking movie and BoB recomends it :yes:

Btw you do not in any way means manner or form need to be a wrestling fan to enjoy this. 9/10

I was somewhat disappointed. Not sure if it was the hang-over or did the movie just fail to make any progress during the two hour that it lasted. Either way I was bored.

Actually is Marisa Tomei not Patricia Arquette and yes is a very good movie.

The Day the Earth Stood Still - 4/10

Uhh... alright so it wasn't a bad movie per se but they had a brilliant opportunity to make it mysterious, really alien, things like that, but instead they went with every cliche I expected would be there.

Whiny kid, check. Stupid fifteen second resolution of the plot, check. Government assholes, check. I could go on and on. Disappointing, really, as I thought maybe it will deviate from this 'mainstream' approach.

Cliches you can deal with, though it's hardly nice to have them, but a weak plot with not really anything happening... that's a sure way to get a below average movie which this was. Also the cgi was pretty weak.

A cruel story about vatican and how it only was thinking itself while jews were murdered durng WWII and after the war helped nazi war criminals to escape (for a nice sum of money ofcourse).

Seven Pounds 9/10

This is definitely not a movie for everyone as it's quit slow but it's meant to be that way. I never think I've seen Will Smith in a roll like this but I don't hope it's gonna be the last one as it's really refreshing to see him doing something else than you average action/sci-fi movie.

Normally I'm never moved by motion pictures but this one got to me for sure!

Also the soundtrack is simply amazing and compliments the picture to the greatest extent. Some of the piano music has a very warm feeling to it but at the same time some of the tones have a more sinister sound to it which signals that not everything is as it should be.

One of the best movies I've seen in the last couple of years.
