Alexander - 4/10 - hmmmm that was some shoddy acting/filming/directing...however i did watch it to the end (somehow), so it gets a 4. (2 marks for effort, 1 mark for comedy and 1 mark for boobies!)

The Express - 7.5/10 - good solid film about a great character and touching story

i could not, and can not understand why max suddenly decides to pretty much OD on valkyr, and why the miracle combat drugs looks little more than lsd. and i HATE HATE HATED the wifey and baby in heaven flashback whatevers.

Man I love everything 80s so I'm desperately trying to catch up on the films that for some reason I've never got round to seeing.
Pretty much grew up on a diet of these films late night tucked up in bed and I'd hoped this would be as great as everyone said it was and it just didn't do it for me. What can I say, I just didn't laugh once.

The feel of early London & an intriguing web like plot makes this movie a masterpiece. Ofcourse Jason Statham also... :thumbsup:
