Eagle Eye - 8/10

Wow that was action packed! One wild ride from the beginning to the end. I didn't like - someone it has mentioned before I think - the computer element too much but I guess it worked well enough and didn't detract from such a thrilling movie in the end. Also how terribly uncool was killing off the best character! I hated that.

Gran Torino - 5/10 (at most) - some terrible acting on everyone's part though occasionally Clint saves it. Wouldnt recommend watching it unless you're desperate

Milk - 7/10 - touching because its based on the truth, however it was rather slow at times. The last 30mins brought it up to a 7 (being generous)

Hopefully these screeners will get better...am watching Seven Pounds in a bit

From Dusk 'Til Dawn - hahaha 6.5/10 what the hell

V for Vendetta - 7.2/10 was kinda slow during some parts imo but the last parts were really good and boosted it rating quite some

- characters that annoy you under entire film
- no clear ending, did human change? did it get better? wtf?

so in the end its what you walk out with is annoyed feeling about the fucking kid and the old witch

Loved this movie, Eastwood is hard as they come in this one, retired Dirty Harry.
Touching story, great humor and Eastwood. Cant go wrong with that.

What a disappointment compared to the first one. I can't remember the second one. Maybe my mind is protecting me from harm.

wow, am so surprised at the high scores for Gran Torino - the acting was some of the worst i've seen outside of soap tv shows.

Seven Pounds - 6/10 - kinda dull for the first hour but picked up a bit. It was trying to be too emotional and therefore it forced it all a little. Nearly a good film.

Appaloosa - 6/10 - generic, not a great ending.

The Recruit - 7.8/10 - really good film, good acting, some originality, good ending (though i did predict it fairly early on)

Carlito's Way - 8.3/10 - easily the best film i have seen pacino in in terms of his acting. Exciting and built up throughout - slight shame about the ending, but you cant win them all i guess
