How so?
I didn't make the rules here... The staff did.

If they thought there was a problem with people leeching their buffers, they'd make a rule.  Or warn you.
There are no HNR restrictions, so you don't need a 1.0.  You're "encouraged" to seed as much as possible, but you don't have to.

ohv are actually pretty damned good for the price... you need to be from uk to order one I belive or from france to order from ovh.com... their kinda dicks that way (They often ask for id)

edit: and that isn't dedicated bandwith... you share a dedicated 100mbit with serveral servers

there probably the best unmetered service for a seedbox in europe... if you need metered you go with vectoral ussually, and if your an uploader with nl axx you ussually go with leaseweb

hmm I've been reading up on ovh and dedibox and the reviews for both are pretty bad... getting conflicting reports... some say like 5mbit is max speed some say 80-90

but I heard, ovh only serve ppl who speaks French, is it true ? I'm from South East Asia, can I rent their server ? I sent them email asking about this but never got replied. Now I rent seedbox from hosting-ie, but comparing with the OVH package, the hdd space has brought me to consider to move to OVH

ovh.fr only serve people who are french residents....
ovh.de only serve people who are german residents....
ovh.co.uk USED TO BE A rip off in comparison and remember peeps they want ur cc/bank deets.... no paypal whatsoever :S
Not sure on international clients, best way to check is send em an email maclover
Speedwise... i know of one person who regularly uses ovh.fr with ftp and uploading and can push a good 10MB/s almost all day long up and down...
Don't go for a gbit port as international speeds will only be about 100mbit - unless its for use within the same country as its located.

Uhh... ovh.co.uk has the same prices as ovh.fr it's just pounds instead of euro... I converted them and checked so it's not a rip off... unless the bw is different

and no they dont' take international clients so you need a resident to rent it for you and pay them

edit: they accept quebec canada residents... quebec offically is french... I"m in New Bruswick it's offically bilingual, ie signs and govt stuff is in both French and English... but they don't accept me...

but what i see is strange is when you select this one

maybe its just a writing fault though
