It even does it when you're at home :smart:

hi,

could i get some help with the rss generated links?
trying to use one with TED (torrent episode downloader)

TED is giving an error it can't read the torrent, that is correct considering that when i click on a link in the rss feed it'll request a user and password.
So i'm guessing something is going wrong with the pass/passkey?

http://www.torrentbytes.net/rss.php?pas … p;direct=1

I tried all combinations
Direct link, web link, utorrent cookie
none of these help

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

What i did to analyse this:
Generate rss link in firefox
Copy paste the link in internet explorer (so I'm sure user credentials from cookie/session aren't used)
click a link

When you copy that rss link,go to uTorrent-File-Add Rss Feed.Paste the link, chek automatically download, check use smart episode filter. After that right click on TBY rss  downloader and there you can add what you want.

http://www.torrentbytes.net/getrss.php
Check add uT cookie.

Anyone ever got this to work with digits? I'd like it to download 2012 and 1013 1080p releases automatically and this is how it looks now:

It dosen't work and i don't know why. I've tried 2013* aswell without any success

dont you need *2012* ?
Else all you are trying to download is the movie 2012

I really don't know, but I'll give it a shot and report back if unsuccessful

dont forget to filter out the nots if you have any, bdrip, ac3, etc

Edit:

I tried putting in *2011* and had in  my not-list *bdrip*|*hdtv*
and that gave me A.Thousand.Cuts.2011.720p.BluRay.x264-Japhson
(i had 720 and 1080 selected)
so i think it should work. may have to tweak not-filter some, but the basic is correct

at least for the 'not'-part, you don't need to put in the asterisks.

I'm not quite sure whether the other will work the same, I thought you did need the regexes

Amm, It doesnt start the download and i ve done everything right. Do i need to wait so it says *NEW* torrent here, basically does the program not download old torrents? :S

if not, whats the prob

ROCKmyJOCKz wrote:

yea the RSS feed only searches the last 15 torrents added to the site

So what can I do then if I want to simply boot up my computer when I get home and have it automatically download my regular shows, since they will not be marked as *NEW* anymore?

I don't want to have to have my computer switched on all day, and can certainly not have it running during night at which virtually all tv-shows are uploaded in my time-zone.

I turn on the computer for use every day, but it's mostly the shows aired in the US on Sunday such as Family Guy, American Dad, Cleveland Show, Simpsons, The Walking Dead I want to have automatically downloaded when I get home from work on Monday.

EDIT: i saw now that you can have the RSS-link show the 200 last torrents added, however I still think my shows will have gotten bumped down before I get online
