I am testing this ATM using wine and utorrent (newest build) only issue so fart was the need to remove the s from https.

How do I set it up for individual categories ?

Ie I want to DL 360 / DVDR / HD etc etc but miss out MP3

How do I do that ???

ATM its just downloading freekin everything.

BoB,

*Right-click the feed
*Choose "Edit feed"
*Click "Do not automatically download all items"
*Click "Ok"

Then you can add which shows to download in the RSS Downloader. Find it in the options menu or press Ctrl+R.

I was trying to do it the other way and have dowload set as *

Not *MP3*

Just realised that categories havent been set up for RSS, something for the future :lol:

you probably should have used *MP3? as not-filter to avoid the MP3s, *MP3* will not match "(Music/MP3)" since / and ) are different, and with the "Filter matches original name ..." ticked.

*MP3* works fine,,, rember the * is a wild card and it will pick that up regardless of any addition to the whats after or before

Hey guys.

I've followed the guide and it seems to be working. The only thing I can not seem to get to work is the auto download of episodes.

It is probably because I do not remember my regular expressions well enough, so here is what I've put in;

Filter: The walking dead*720p*
Filter: [HorribleSubs] Naruto * 720p*

I've got nothing in Not.
The Feed is set to TorrentBytes.
Quality is set to ALL.
I've got no ticks in any of the options.
Minumum Interval is set to 'Match Always'

Try:

*The walking dead 720p*
*[HorribleSubs] Naruto 720p*

Thats should work

edit:

This one may work better

The?walking?dead?720p*
[HorribleSubs]?Naruto?720p*

The Walking Dead*

and then Quality 720p is working fine for me.

What causes the invalid torrent file problem?
I set up RSS feeds for the first time on 1.6.1.  I had it set up to download 5 tv shows, 3 of them worked fine the other 2 were invalid torrent files. Family Guy and Dexter didn't work.  I had the correct episode numbers,correct filter settings yet still got invalid torrent file.
I noticed earlier someone mentioned changing to https.  What exactly does that mean?  I added an s to the http in the feed url but it wouldn't update the feed when the 's' was in it.

Cheers.

I  don't know how to do that.  I changed the url in the RSS feed from http to https then clicked update now.  It wouldn't update.  I changed it back to http and it updates fine.

I am trying to get rss feed to work in torrentflux.

I have added this line to the rss feed.
http://www.torrentbytes.net/rss.php?pas … x;pass=xxx

but its not working. I get this error messages: "RSS timed out".
I am sure I have entered correct passkey, uid and pass.

Any idea what might be wrong?

got this working with a little glitch..  for some reason pasting the direct link always stopped at the : (colon) .. didn't notice the first few times and kept getting the invalid torrent error.   Working find now (on ubuntu & utorrent in wine.)

What would cause downloading using RSS to stop working?
Mine has been working fine since I set it up.  I haven't changed a thing yet it's stopped working.
TV shows hat I have been downloading every week without problems no longer want to download.

Thanks for the update big yin.  Will we need to change anything, or will it just start working as per normal?

cheers.

Once it is fixed it will just update itself.  It is broken site side so your client will still be trying to update it and cos the site side is down it has nothing to report.

Will anybody be so kind to post here when it's working again? I changed my settings because I thought there were something wrong with those, so now I'm not sure wheter or not it's going to work again.

Filter = *Wii*
Not = *Pal*
