whiller01, then just choose the HDTV one, it's 350MB and is released sooner and so will almost always be the one that's finished first.
in answer to your question though, yes it would download both versions unless you have smart episode filter on
I have to agree and disagree with you. HDTV is probably released earlier than 720p release, but that doesnt bother me, what is important for me is which is uploaded first here, on torrentbytes. (Thats not always HDTV)
Thank you, i forgot about the smart episode filter. Now i can make it do what i want ..
Hi, So what version of ut works best with RSS feed here.
been using 1.6 for ages but never w/rss feeds.
I setup using the updated tute here and read it at the ut forum as well.
see this error quite a bit. " invalid torrent file cannot load " Started with:
"Entourage S05E04 HDTV XviD"
But "The Unit S04e01" worked as expected. So i throw out the cookie / id being wrong.
Maybe its a bug in the old ut client v1.6.474.
Read this oldie but a goodie report online

A vulnerability has been discovered in uTorrent, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing of ".torrent" files. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow by tricking the user into opening a ".torrent" file containing an overly long "created by" field.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.7.7 (build 8179). Prior versions may also be affected
My question is which version of ut everyone using the feed feature succesfully is ?
Thank you
Edit: Resolved Well I changed from Http to Https and now all is well, just succesfully dl'd automagicly:
The Shield* | Fringe* | & Criminal Minds* |
Thanks soniiic for the quick get back. changing to https for me did the trick & still using v1.6, didn't have to upgrade for it to work correctly! Frackin happy camper NOW!

can i just get a specific category or do i have to get all the latest torrents?
can i just get a specific category or do i have to get all the latest torrents?
you can only get all, but there's no problem with that is there? you can use the filter
the filter?? in utorrent or from the site??
its not really a problem, but im not gonna download from all the categories. mostly movies and tv shows
yeh in utorrent, TB appends every torrent with the category surrounded by brackets. so if you wanted every tv show released here your filter would be *(TV/XviD)

you mean RSS doesn't work in 1.8.1? or that tb hasn't allowed it yet?
I tried both ways didn't work, banged my head off a brick wall for a while then realised a roll back would, its a new build so everything takes time, and how good is that build
Thought i would share the info
Im sure rss does work in 1.8.1 , some feedback from others would be good on that, i'm, new to it all so ill look into it.

I got the correct settings (i already have it working successfully form another of my ip's) got the feed set up fine, yet got the error ,,, despite it working elsewhere on 1.8 , so i went back to 1.8 and was fine. perhaps its a fussy bugger.
My feed is non specific btw so my settings are straightforward
