This is the link. I don't have a problem with the RSS feed everything shows up fine. It just looks like I am having trouble with getting the torrent file.
You haven't put the cookie in. follow the instructions
I got it all working but it downloaded all Episodes that were released but I would rather just 720 releases.
Would something like
Prison Break 720* work ?
Thanks for the guide

^^
I was wondering the same thing
also, for some reason, its seems to only download certain programs and not others
eg. in the history list all the files it should download appear (prison break & heroes), along with a download date,
but only prison break actually appeared in utorrent downloading
no, the release name is: Prison.Break.S03E06.720p.HDTV.x264-CTU and so your mask wouldn't match the s03e06 bit.
You could do it simply and use the latest uTorrent (1.7.5) and select the 720p selection in the quality drop down list. But i'm assuming that as you're asking you're one of 'those people' who don't like anything > 1.6.1
Two ways of doing it-
#1:
-Filter: Prison?Break*720p*
-Tick the 'Filter matches original name instead of decoded name' box
#2:
-Filter: Prison Break*
-Not: *xvid*
-Leave the box unticked
I hope the differences are obvious

Ummm, are you sure? :/ in your left panel you sure you've got 'ALL' selected?
I set it as Duty* and selected ALL in quality and ticked the match box. . .
Simply putting 'Duty*' will only match feeds STARTING with duty. you should have typed 'call of duty*' or '*duty*'

Upgraded also. Tried setting it up for Gears Of War so we will see if it manages to get that
Ok, so it missed the RELOADED version but picked up the Razor release. Why so ?
if you have a look at the RSS feed, you'll see the reloaded release is nuked and so therefore it's called 'nuked Gears of War-RELOADED grp req Nuked'. So as i'm assuming your filter was something like 'gears of war*', it didn't match the 'nuked' bit at the beginning. it just so happened that by the time your RSS feed refreshed, it had already been nuked on the site; otherwise it would have matched the filter and start to download

err... not sure what "left panel" you are referring to
in that image there's a frame on the left that says All + Downloading + Completed etc etc...
I've never had that window open - its always been selected to "All"
Besides, i set the downloader to send files to my desktop instead of my usual place

Hey,
I'm having a problem with the rss downloader of uTorrent (ver 1.8 beta - build 9704)) while using the rss direct link.
It worked in the past and only recently I noticed that I don't get any new downloads through the rss.
When I manually right click an item in the feed (from within uTorrent) and choose "Download" i get:
"Unable to load "xxxxxx" : invalid torrent file!"
If I choose "Open URL in browser" I'm directed to the torrent details page as if I wasn't using "&direct" at the query string.
From my inspection of the rss feed, it seems as if uTorrent read the link to the download from the <guid> instead of the <link>, and while the <link> stores the url to the actual torrent, the <guid> only store the url to the details page.
unfortunately this is not what you're going to want to hear... but i just checked my RSS feed and it works fine and i am even using the same url as you. don't know how i can help out here :S
edit: oh and this is using 1.7.7 so maybe it's a bug with your new 1.8 version

I've tried downgrading to 1.7.7, but no change... and apparently finding a link in the guid is a "feature" of uTorrent (at least according to the rss guide on their site), so I don't think it's a bug...
Do you (or someone else) mind looking at their actual xml file (by opening the link and looking at the source) and look if the <guid> tag in their feed also points to the details page and not to the download?

Are you sure site has your IP registered? Just hit the browse page and if it gives you login screen then you might have restarted your connection etc, and you have to log in again for RSS to work - at least it does that for me (I'm on dynamic IP). As far as I see your RSS Feed string is ok, so it could be the problem I mentioned.
I spoke to admin and troubleshooted it myself and saw that when i provided incorrect cookie credentials, i was linked to the details page even though i requested direct links.
so make absolutely sure your passkeys are both correct and your uid is 186414

I saw a few people having problems with "invalid torrent file" when trying to set up RSS feeds in utorrent. I just got mine set up today after having that problem.

to be quite honest, i don't think that makes any difference, well not client-side at least. the cookies utorrent uses are completely independent of those from ie or firefox and so logging in shouldn't fix it. maybe it's something server side, that's being enabled but i must say i haven't and don't have this problem so i wouldn't know about it.

Got it // thanks for help, works just fine.. I dont have any experience yet, well the dexter started downloading right now .
But here goes my question, if have have two things selected in quality (hdtv & 720p), is the utorrent going to download them both or not? In case it will, is there any way to prevent it? What i dont want to is having one release in two qualities, i want the one thats released earlier, quality is bonus, but i usually want to have the stuff as soon as possible so i can watch it.
i dont know whats wrong, but sometimes an episode that is downloaded using rssfeed, gets download again automaticlly, apparently the first one downlaoded dont get stored in the history, and it gets downloaded again
last Thursday i downloaded "The Office S05E01 HDTV XviD-NoTV"
today i found this downlaoded "The Office S05E01 HDTV Custom HebSub XviD-ALiS"
