I'm wondering if I could get some help with a banner.I'm new to ps.I want to make a banner for a site called
"KNIGHTS OF DESTRUCTION".It's a game forum.I want to make the "KNIGHTS" part shiny like chrome(aka knights armor).I found a tutorial that l really like the results here but I can't seem to recreate the effect.I'm not sure if it's because it's from an older ps or I'm just a noob.Prolly the latter.

On the "DESTRUCTION" part I think I want to use the fire effect like this.I can get the fire effect but I want the text to look like burnt metal(the opposite of the shiny metal).

Any help from the experts would be awesome.I'm just looking for a point in the right direction or any help really.Mostly with the chrome effect,I may not use the fire at all...but really like that chrome one.

I may be a little too ambitious with what I want to do....

I really like what you've done....thanks alot....I'm just looking for that hard reflective aspect of the chrome pics.

Edit:on the destruction part I was looking for a charred/soot/dirty version of the chrome with fire.(I can work that out if I can get the other figured out)

it looks like you have saved the thumbnail, you need to save the direct link. You could also try saving it here http://xs.to/ then copying the direct link
