I've had great success with Samsung drives.

I burn Verbatim at 8x and have had practically zero coasters.

its important if your using a burner from the 1920`s

I use a pioneer 112d and burnt hundreds upon hundreds of 360 games.

The pioneer 11* (ide) and 21* (sata) are great. I can vouch for them, automatic bitsetting on DL+ R makes them top pick for iX users

ImageBurn/tools/write/options box. set to user specified. in section L0: 1913760

and you are done.. Now burn. The drive won't matter so long as it supports burning to DVD+R DL

or just double click the .dvd file you should have

also if your game iso does not come with a .dvd file then when you run the iso through abgx it will automatically create one for ya.

But tbh setting the layerbreak as warduke says is easy to do and saves you having to even think about the .dvd files.

without even looking I am fairly certain the latest jungleflasher tutorial pdf is the most up to date and I have always found it quite easy to follow and understand.

any 1 banned yet?im not as of yet abgx everything that came out before use, liteon 1.51 not used any wave 4, i also dont trust abgx for wave 4 at the moment (well site been dead a week some 1 has to start it

i know 4 people who have been banned upto now, 1 was using 1.51 on a hitatchi 2 using 1.6 on liteon's and 1 using 1.6 on benq.
though of all the people who have been able to update to 1.61 they seem to be fine as of yet... maybe its just coincidence..but 1.61 users at least the ones i know of seem to be fine

I'm not sure what firmware I was using or anything, A buddy took care of everything for me, all I know is that I was waiting for the Wave4 update for the BenQ, I was banned Wednesday, another friend was banned today. Luckily I had a spare box, and they leave the GT alone.
Lasted a whole month for me

Not a big deal, my burnt games sucked anyways.

well i have a samsung ms28 flashed with 1.6 and i have never played a unverified game or modded wave 4 game or played a game before release day and i was still not banned yesterday

just had a thought what if in one of the last updates MS have developed a way to read the data on your dvd FW so that they have an X value and when you re-flash your drive with new FW's the new value is different from the x value and so they know its been modded?

the way I look at it is like this.

I hack my 360`s and save the value of a brand new 360 with every third game I download.

if you get a year out of a 360 without it red ringing or being banned imagine the money you have saved on games, now with that money you have saved you should be able to easily afford a replacement 360.

when I buy a new 360 after xmas its getting plugged in once to establish it works and it will immediately be getting flashed.

I flashed my 74 lite-on on thursday and i ain't been banned as of yet. I've played Tekken 6 with the boot disk and I've played MWF 2 so far. I always unplug the LAN cable and for MvF2 i used a mem stick and not my hdd.

unplugging your lan doesn't protect you.. xbox keeps track of games u played and when.. as soon as you login to live. your toast. probably..

I always play offline with single player, never played in Forza 3 , Borderlands or HALO 3 ODST french, CoD MW 2, never used abgx and I played only scene release... I was unplugged about 15 days, any wave 4 wasn't played, activate.iso never used. Always had newest FW ( drive BENQ ). On live I played only in CoD 4 MW ( and few times Guitar Hero, CoD WaW and BF Bad Company ) and...yesterday I got ban :Q
I'm only pissed that installing games is disabled now :/

Guys I have a question! I got my xbox flashed 5 months ago and everything is fine (1.51 - liteon). For the future I'd like to do this by myself...

Since I only have 2 laptops I don't have a SATA connection, is there any way to buy some kind of hardware so that i can flash my box over the usb connections?
