Is it safe to play online with Iextreme 1.5 with legit game disk? I do understand the risk for backuped disks however not sure with retail ones.

I just recently tried the game Ninja Blade not gonna be released here in EU in a long time
I've deleted everything associated with Ninja Blade on my game library however I cannt seem to delete it
from my profile where it says "latest Games" Is it still safe to login to xbox live?

The moment you connect to xbox live under that profile it will upload the stats. best bet is to make a seperate profile for playing unreleased games or do like i do and remove the network cable and hdd

I had to completely remove the profile offline and relogged in although I lost every saved games and gamer achievement it was gone from the latest games.

Just did a restore of my original firmware on my Hitachi 79 through Firmware Toolbox 4.8 and flashed with JungleFlasher and everything went very smooth.

Nice not having to deal with Slax and 79 unlocker playing in WMP for 78/79 Hitachi drives

any dual layer burner will burn 360 games. Its best to find one which you can change the bitsetting/booktype from DVD-R RL to DVD-ROM for stealthing. The pioneer 115/215 i know changes it by default (great burner too)

from personal experience, once flashed with the latest firmware, the sony optiarc drives burn xbox 360 dual layer dvds very quickly. that is if you use the highest speed for 8x DVD+R DL media.

2 weeks on my 360 and already downed and burned 30 games flawlessly not a single fail.

i have no patience to burn 360 games at the slowest speed (is it 2.4x?). i go up to 8x with my memorex and see no problems at all.

It pretty much depends on the drive and laser. Some drives can be really iffy when it comes to media and write speed. Especially Hitachi drives.

I've had trouble with Memorex and MediaRange myself. But then again I never buy anything else than Verbatim when it comes to media. Be it CD-R, DVD or DVD-DL

ok the 360 I bought have IX1.5 ready Lite On drive
the guy that hacked it for me sent me the extracted .bin file
the one that needed some extra tools other than VIA chipset to extract from.

Will I be able to update it myself to IX1.51> with VIA PCI card alone since thats the only thing I have atm.

he sent me 1 file "xxxx.bin"
ok I asked him a few things and gave him the link that nex kindly posted

no that's the old method. If you use jungle flasher V1.51 you no longer need all the individual files to build the firmware, you just load the file sent in the top and the new firmware in the bottom and hit the spoof button to create the firmware.

It's not like that the solder mod or the probe are the same thing... U need the extractor tools only for 1 time just to take the key from the dvd after that if u still have the bin files u don't ever need the "extra tools" again. You need to power up the dvd from ur xbox and connect the dvd to the via card after that u cand use the windows programs like jugleflasher or and iso that u can burn and boot from it to do the work for u (if u search u will find it

)
It's very easy to reflash the dvd since u have all the necessary files and don't be afraid even if something goes wrong u can erase it and try again and again
