At least according to this thread your burner is not compatible.

Best bet is getting a Pioneer 111D

Bitsetting and booktype changing is no longer needed with the new firmwares.

I use IMGBurn @ 2.4x due to some issues found with clonecd. I Also suggest you us Verbatim DVD+R DL disks.

hey guys im getting a 360 tomorrow from currys

now ive been over at xbox scene and asked a few q's but no-one seems to be answering me anyway

right now i wanted to know what i need to flash my drive!

i thought all i needed was a sata slot and sata cable and slax and the firmware.... CORRECT?

also can all the drive now be flashed as ive been told the only ones that cnt right now are philips...correct?
and what firmware are best for the other 2 models which will give me the best results etc i dont use live so

i just connected my 360 to my computer with media center edition. but when I was going to watch a movie on the xbox it just says that i not have det codec. but when i try on my computer i works just fine.

if you read above the 360 CANNOT play xvid or divx they need to me streamed from a PC that is encoding them on-the-fly

I know how to backup 360 games and burn them. Once I have a working backup how can I make copuies of the backup when I no longer have teh image? When I do dvd copy in Nero i get duds. Thanks.

just burn a couple of backups from the iso when u do your first burn, then you should be cool if anything goes wrong with your disk.

Or do ya wanna copy them and sell them to your friends ?

well i used DVD Decrypter & Rip the ISO to my Desktop then made the .dvd file in notepad & reburned the iso, Games work without any problems

ive had that message. it normal means the disc is burnt wrong or bad image or even the Drive you used to load it in the pc cant read it properly, but trust me it works! ive done a few ReBurns that way for a mate! never had a problem.

Verbatim DVD+R DL
CDclone
Burn a 1x speed
Pioneer 111D DL Burner

re-rips
Pioneer 111D DL Burner
DvDdcrypter iso read mode
notepad

legend ur right a few days ago i tried it with saints row it wouldnt work so i used clonecd and it worked so now i try fifa 07 with dvd decrypter and it works

well ive flashed mine around 5 or 6 times now and not a problem

people break them half the time because they dont know what there doing or havent fully read the guide etc

like removing the black screws from the metal case is a big no no

in case theres people who cant get the right media i bought some infiniti 360 discs �17.50 for 25

at first i was getting dirty disc updated to 5.2 xtreme c and now backups boot everytime being playing GRAW all night long

How do i connect my 360 to my pc speakers. I got 2.1 speakers. I have the vga cable to connect my 360 to the monitor but i cant connect those red and white cables. Do i need to have a special jack to connect them for sound? if so, whats the name of that jack?
