the gear doesnt change the class. played rogue since beta and still love it.

well of course it does. Running around in 200ish resilience and getting steamrollered by any melee class is just not fun. Sure I can ambush some clothies right but damn, what happened to pvp?

Rogues got balanced.

If you dont want to play a balanced character and just wtfsteamroll in full blue savage set reroll ret paladin.
Rogue has quite a learning curve and you need at least 600 resilience+ 3000ap+ 25%crit+ to be able to compete, in my battlegroup that is.

edit: but still playing a rogue is damn fun imo, i enjoyed it even when i got facerolled by everyone when i just dinged 80 because im not only killing, also playing tactical with a rogue is really worth it

no what I meant was, what happend to burst dmg? Seems that everything is about burst nowdays?

Also need some pvp tips. Im currently running with a healing druid. We are both crap geared but should he go moonkin instead? Seems heals means fuck all anyway

but if the druid is also crappy geared theres not really much you can do he and you will die really fas, i just stuck with bg's myself till i got full hateful pvp set and deadly offset and some daggers.

as for the rogur druid combo, i dont know much about playing them. all i can tell you is that if theres 2 dps'ers nuking your druid dont forget to use fok to crip both so your druid can be out of range most of the time

hmm yeah I guess i have to farm bg's then. I do love the elements of the rogues, but when you just get pummeld down in a cupple of sec's it's even fun.

Is mutilate the way to go or should I specc the FoK specc?

If you're starting from scratch, then you should be Muti/Prep and if you can, "farm" EoE, VoA, heroics, etc. for pvp gear while also doing as many BGs as you possibly can.

FoK spec only really works in 5v5 afaik. and as for 2 dpsers nuking ure druid u wouldnt wanna FoK since it costs 50energy u make a focus target macro that shiv's the one u aint hitting.

aye read p on that now. Although I have a uestion, is it worth waiting on the next patch/new season before getting the honor pvpgear?

I'd say wait for the next patch and just have fun doing the odd arenamatch and a few bgs to stack up on honor/points.

Also, Wintergrasp is your friend for a piece here and there and enchants.

grinding honor is fairly easy do the wintergrasp dailys 2times a weeks and then some BGs and u rack up the honor for gear fast.

and new arena season will most likly been a few weeks away.

hmms al right, I rather save up points then and buying some proper enchants. though, I'm quite unfamiliar with the new arena point thing. Even if I don't score a single match, do I still get some points, like "10 games a week"?

yes you get points as long as u do 10games per week. but saving points = useless since they reset when new season hits. honor can be saved tho but not the arena points

Ret burst got nerfed, however, their DPS in Raids sucks now.

DK tanks got nerfed, which is a shame since only 0/17/54 was the spec needing changes in pvp.

Still no nerf to locks.

New content seems bad to me, I mean, a lvl 80 instance on normal drops Epics? ridicolous.

What does every1 else think of the 3.2?

they dont deserve to do good dps in either pvp or pve, scrubs

Personally I like the new patch, as both a rogue, warrior and priest.

being able to create characters on alliance and horse side on same server
battleground xp
most changes to bg's
new instance kicks ass
new bg kicks ass (epic hk farm)
conquest in heroics (for the casuals as usual) still i think everyone should be able aquire the same gear hardcore or casual

New patch is lame but i like it getting my gear wai faster than i would if it wasnt for badges change. And the new BoA gear is sweet and mount as lvl 20 you cant complain tho blizzard made game bit too ezmode if u ask me personally and guess many agree about this. Well of for the coluseum raid next.

ive kinda hit a roadblock in my wow experience, ive finished all the quests related to the blood elves, and im not really sure what to do next.

Or just get a group together and start doing instances.

Respec. the two pallys in our guild did notice a drop.. they chaned out glyphs and their speccs a bit and they are almost where they were before..

Didnt get nerfed. They were easily overpowered. 5They brought them down to the same level as pallys and warriors.. just need better gear. Kinds blows though considering they are the "hero class"

Affliction locks got a buff to their pets.. Destruction locks took a hit this run through. Lowered several skills which hurt overall dps, and lots of crit which killed a good chunk of our burst.

Not that great of Epics though. Purple items that are as good or lower then the naxx 10 man.. thats what you get when people complain that its impossible for them to gear up in the 10/25 man content when they cant get into them.

So far, something new which is always good.
i like the 5/10/25 man Normal and heroic idea.
i like that you can trade items after if you get something that you could give to someone else in group.
new pvp is a blast

Ye, ret wasn't even remotely nerfed, they got buffed for raids and their PVP burst was scaled down (aka. they balanced it) , which was needed.

I'm liking the patch so far. The new content isn't exactly breathtaking and from a shaman's perspective, the tier gear is about as exciting, both in terms of looks and setpiece bonuses, as a pile of poo, but the general strengthening of the class makes up for it <3

From a rogues perspective, few things changed. Still doing our deeps and still have somewhat decentlooking gear
