Give Carbonite a try for your questing needs. I never used to like it, and it does have a few things that you will never ever use. But if you take 5-10minutes to sort through the options, it's a pretty awesome little quest addon.

THere are some addons that are made for the leveling guides, i suggest getting them.
For example , Zygors leveling guide 1-80

BTW kpoof, your unholy spec you got for aoe tanking, is that the same you used for leveling as well?

Questhelper. -the end-
The only thing you need really.

Using questhelpers make you dumb. Basically you cut down on the game contents (quest lore and orientating in the environment) in order to speed up your levelling.

If you're levelling you Nth alt, then sure, go ahead. But when levelling your first or second character, you'll only end up shooting yourself in the leg.

I love how whenever there's a patch that renders questhelpers unusable, the people that have used it while questing have to wait until it's been patched too so they can carry on questing. Hurray for stupidity.

Im pretty sure that even someone playing their 1st char will find WoW's quests boring and repetative and the lore isnt great.

What you mentioned are for Roleplayers.

No, of course not. I couldn't possibly level good enough with a tanking spec as with a damage spec, right?

Basically, I just went with the unholy tree, the one that gave me most damage, and just used death strike whenever I needed to get some HP back. Loads of things soloable AND saved alot of time (compared to if you'd go blood). It's hard as unholy, but goddamn me it's faster to level.

haha, check that out ;D

So, today when I was about to log into the game, my head "froze" and went blank and I could not remember my password. No sweat I thought, just use the retrieve password function.

I went ahead and filled in the info needed, got a successful password retrieval but I still haven't received any response from Blizzard. I've tried calling them several times to day but after over an hour in wait time I decided to try to send in an web form regarding my issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar to this, why haven't I gotten a automated reply from Blizzard regarding the password retrieval?

To think that I actually pay to play this game.../sigh

Are you sure you got the same email on the account?
Maybe you forgot which one that was.

For the time being, your armory is broken. Changing name or transferring?

Anyways, I have a 80 destro lock myself. Can't be arsed to find the armory link, but it's 'BALLCHINGIRL' on 'DARKSORROW'.

by the way, @WotLK Level 80 I played Felguard/Emberstorm (demo/fire destro) hybrid spec - it kicked ass totally. from start I was undergeared, still raping hard

in march, when i quitted WoW, i had 4/5 t7 and some other epix - pooned 4400dps on 25 patchwerk with felguard + destruction talents was fun.

edit: I quitted WoW, lucky :giggle:

I played full destro at 70 before WotLK. I was levelling it as demonology until I stopped playing for a while. I'll go back to Destruction when I start playing again, it's awsome. ^^

right lads. So some friends started up again, and I decided to tag along. They doing this linked account thing and levelling seems to go b y light speed. Though I can't be arsed and I have a cupple of horde characters lying around. So, I'm basicly asking what class I should pick.

70 rogue, 70 mage, 50 priest, 50 warlock and a 50ish hunter.

I'm most tempted to try out mage again since last time was back when I raided illidan so gear are pretty good. Though what are the current state of mages. My and ours main goal is too pvp and only pvp.

Some insights would be great

If you're a skilled mage then I guess you could go frost and kick some butt, but otherwise, you're better off leveling the rogue, priest og warlock. On my 75 rogue, with 1,5k attack power, I do 4,500 crits with Eviscerate. And I can obliverate and un-suspecting player in a few GCDs.

But take note. WotLK is a zergfest. There are high hits and crits, and to counter this, healers can heal 20k in 2 GCDs. PvP isn't really what it used to.

Rogue all the way baby

Superior to mage in PvP (source world ladders)
Superior to mage in PvE (source wws)

And PvP is so much more fun with a rogue than a mage IMO. Because i enjoy pissing off casual noobies

Everyone who plays a rouge says it's fun, but consider that if you consider going rouge, mage, warlock or hunter, you'll only do one thing, and that's DPS.. I'd quit wow if I was doing the same thing over and over, and I'm glad that my class can do two things. I think in the end you'll be happy to try out something new instead of sticking to the same rotation for every raid without anything changing.

Therefore I'd say priest. Most fun!

Just got hacked...again...

This time some asshole merged my account with a battlenet account, so I cant even retrive the password. How he did it? No idea!

After 2 and a half hours on customers service line, I gave up for now. I got NO idea how to get my account back.
