I've been using that leveling guides addon as well and I gotta say it is awesome. Defiantly saves a lot of time.

P.S. By the way I play a warlock on US-Bronzebeard. If any of you play there look up Tiësto.

another noobish question; i just borrowed my friends account, and was wondering if i can download ONLY wrath of the lich king, or do i have to download all three games to play?

Well honestly I just started playing WoW a few days ago but my guess is you need the original wow downlaod and any other expansion you want active so probably all 3 if your friend has all the content. I know that's how EQ was before they switched to expansions that included all the previous ones but that's what I'm going off of so I could be wrong.

I recently bought Lich King after my 3 months break, and I only had to put int he Lich King DVD to make it install everything. Though I don't know if it's the same with the downloads.

The guild i play with on Proudmoore also play on Bronzebeard.. ill have to check what guild, but i know they play alliance side over there(horde on Proudmoore)

Dont see how that worked as with everyone i know you had to have installed WoW and the BC addon before it let you install WotLK. but if it worked for you that's awesome!

well if you have say a wrath of the lich king account and choose to download this from the official site via the downloader, you only need to download lich king as it includes the other content as well!

Nope. formated the computer a month, or something like that, ago. Only MMO that was installed is Warhammer, and I don't see how that affects WoW.

Watched my friend complete heroic naxxramas today, 25-man raid. Was pretty sweet to be honest.

I played my DK which completed all the quests in northrend at the moment.. I power leveled my Druid as our guild needed a healer.. And now because im getting into PuGs like mag, most of my guild is making druids now too.. lol
My day off i did 10/25 man Naxx and VoA.. No drops for me.. but was a fun day

That being said, dual trees are still freaking annoying. Dual pallys, just as bad is not worse.

Warriors are in a sorry state right now, especially in PvP =\ The main PvP spec (Arms) is one of the worst specs in the game. Fury gives pretty good dps in raids and is doing decent in PvP just because of the high amount of damage it can output. It's getting a huge nerf in the upcoming patch though so it will likely be mediocre for raid DPS and be almost as bad as Arms for PvP.

Ive noticed most of the warriors that we run into are Prot now.. even the guys i know who ran warriors all went prot.. no idea WHY.. they still suck in there..
I just started working a Warlock up.. he usually does well in world PvP so i figured i would work him to 80 and see how he holds up there.. Anyone else PvP with an 80 lock?

I think it's ridiculous that blizzard in the upcoming patch are making classes weaker just to balance the PvP (just to prove how fucked up PvP is). My level 54 alliance warrior, fury specced with overpowered, enchanted gear got amazingly owned by a blood elf rouge at level 35. Took me down in a couple of seconds. Sure he had like 500 hp left at that time, but that was just ridiculous. I played every card right. She froze me, I used heroic fury to unfreeze, and instantly make a charge to stun her. She didn't even dispel the stun and still won.

And I fought a level 45 blood elf paladin too, critted me at 2000 and spelled me to death in one spell after that. Mustve taken 2 seconds.

PvP in my opinion is just to be abolished, since I just get so mad at how frustratingly unbalanced it is. And the addition that they are to unbalance the classes just to balance the PvP - fuck that. The classes now are perfectly balanced in solo-play and team-play. It just feels like they try to add something new like PvP that doesn't work. Sure, fix the damn balance, but not by ruining the paladin strength or so. If blizzard could create this game, I'm sure they can come up with something better then this.

Off-topic, can anyone explain the death knights specs as in what they're good for? (blood for tanking/DPS or whatever for example).

@CDNeh, pvp in warlock is almost impossible, you'd die in a matter of seconds. You have cast times and etc, enough time for other melee classes to slice you up. Would never recommend PvP with a lock.

Lock is the perfect class for killing newbies and clickers. A rogue using keyboard to turn around can easily be beaten even if they have alot of levels above you just because if they give you one second out of stun/slow down a warlock can kite them to death.
But if you face someone who knows how to play their class your fucked (unless its a mage, paladin, priest, druid) :S Guess that is the downside and since PVP is balanced around newbies I dont think locks are going to see the light anytime soon.

Think I found why you can't win ^^

Btw I have always eaten rogues in 1v1 especially when leveling. Around 60 I could easily take rogues that was 5 levels higher even when they got the jump on me.
At 70 in full arena gear I had 14k hp unbuffed and most S3 geared rogues could hardly get me below 50% before they were dead and a new rogue in blue/greens could not even hurt me.

But on the other hand my rogue has always been able to beat warriors around my own level but against prot warriors I don't stand a chance.

Frost is good for passive tanking and good single target dps.
Unholy is great for single target dps, super great aoe and decent active tank.
Blood is decent single target dps so it pretty much sucks atm.

Ive been doing pretty damn good in PvP with my Warlock. He is only LvL 62.. And i dont get killed in seconds... Great in Duals, I was thinking more of Arena PvP.. But i can see what you mean about cast times... I Dont think DoT's in Arena would be too good...
I'll admit.. I'm a "Clicker" I havent figured out how the hell im supposed to move with the WADS keys, click on the 1-9's and manage the mouse... Though clicking with my Arena DK has worked so far.. LoL.. butid love to fgure it out so i dont have to.. Suggestions?

Blood - Single target DPS. Best leveling spec i found.. Great for soloing everything but 5 men Groups.

Frost - great burst damage. pretty good main tank! We have a frost tank in our guild.. he is prety damn good..

Unholy - DPS. Great A0E.. Great in PvP. Frost is great in PvP too.. But i prefer Unholy...

So which spec is best for solo-play AND 5-man instances DPSing and/or occasional tanking for DKs? At level 55+ you will have to do instances to obtain proper gear, so there'll be alot of DPsing.

Its all your personal preference.. I personally liked Blood for leveling to 80.. I did good DPS in the instances and when i was soloing i had no problem taking on the group quests solo with the self heals, good damage and the temp pet..
If you want the pet, you can Spec Unholy till you get the perma pet.. I think its 16 points in Unholy.. The spec the rest in blood.. Its a great Leveling spec as well, perma pet, bonus damage and some buffs for quicker AoE...

Like i said all depends on your preference.. here are the builds...

My Leveling Blood Build.

Unholy Tree till the Perma Pet.. Gargoyle too for great DPS. The into the blood to Heart Strike... Mark of Blood great in PvP against mages and rouges and hunters, and mobs when doing group quests..

Rotation:
PS - IT - HS - HS - DS. OB if you want, but you will loose diseases. Death Coil till no runic power - Start over.

Be sure on both to use the Free Death Coil that will pop up. DnD at the start if you choose..
