Pretty rude tone to your post, but I'm guessing your used to the wow forums where this is common and the logical next step would be to attack your arena ratings.

What your basically saying is the hit% you need to obtain at 80 stays the same as the gear stats scale up the entire time. Although, with a far nastier tone and a lot of questions about levels of understanding.

Obviously the simple fix to this is to make the higher tiers of armor more difficult to achieve the required amount of hit. Thus you're forced to wear lower tier pieces, or gem for really high amounts of hit, sacrificing other stats. (Equalling the gains you made on the weapons.)

Also, in reference to the dps increase in stats, 134.2 x .8 (for the slowing thing)=107 dps. not that big a difference in the dps stat you listed.

Obviously, titans grip is going to be the way to go for fury warriors, its pretty much intended to be. What really matters is how it compares to other specs/classes.

I hope this post comes across as more polite than yours did.

Edit for this might help you out: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa … &sid=1

They can't change the item cost on +hit or it will screw with every class in the game. Making affliction warlocks the only class making fun of everyone.

That change in dps was compared between two 1h weapons and two 2h weapons. It was to make clear there is a big difference between titans grip and not using titans grip.

The -15% hit was their way of balance titans grip and it will be their way of doing it later in the game. But like I said there is going to be alot of whine on the forums when they nerf it. Because it will need a nerf and depending on how they scale it and with what gear its gonna be lots of small nerfs or a few big ones.

You don't seem to grasp the basics of being able to READ and COMPREHEND the English language. You should work on that before your tone takes the better of you.

What I said was that due to gear scaling and rating scaling you will need more hit RATING than you currently do, thereby sacrificing other stats that Arms warriors WITHOUT TG will have. This BALANCES the two specs ever so slightly, making the end results similar.

You will have better, not to mention more, stats than an Arms warrior wielding only a single 2her but between different abilities and talent specs it won't outshine Arms by an insane amount. Which is what I've been saying over and over again.. you just seem to be blinded by your inability to comprehend.

But, fuckit. Your ridiculously chidlish attitude has turned me off wanting to continue any form of debate with you now or in the future. If I wanted to have debates with children where my ability to read is brought up as a retort by someone who obviously needs my glasses more than I do, I could go to the fucking WoW forums. Forums which I avoid like the plague.

You have always needed more hit when going dual wield. Since the day they changed how weapon speeds and normalization works this was changed.
It has nothing to do with titans grip or the stats on gear and if it scales or not.

Felhunters have always been gibbed my melee.

But felhunters used to grant the warlock resistance to all schools of magic (through a talent) and had high resistance themselves, so casters couldn't take them down due to lots of resists.

So, back then felhunters could easily shut mages down and were, more or less, immune to magics (not to mention made the warlock somewhat resistant to magics as well).

Now the resistances are gone. Felhunters now give a raid-wide int buff and lost their silence / interrupt ability (as well as the stealth detection buff) in favor of a Shadow Bite ability, that damages an enemy based on the number of DoT spells on the target.

Talented, they can also restore their mana that way. Since this mana-restoring talent is in the Affliction tree, along with Dark Pact and extra DoT spells  (Haunt, Unstable Affliction), they make for very good PvE pets for Affliction warlocks. I don't know how well they will do in raid situations (AoE might wipe them out very fast), but for WotLK leveling Affliction coupled with a felhunter will be a very good build.

However, they have now very limited PvP use, and with the lost resistances and interrupt / silence, warlocks will have problems with casters AS WELL AS melee, making them definite underdogs due to lack of proper defences.

WOW!!! No silence? WTF. :-/

So which are going to be top classes in WoTLK? Rogues and Warriors again?

My guess:
PvP: rogues warriors and mages. Maybe Paladins but hopefully they'll be nerfed even more! Muhaha
PvE: rogues and guessing mages/locks will have to compete for 2nd place

Healers?
PvP... could it be the amazing unkillable... druids?
2nd Priests
3d Paladins
4th Shamans
PvE pretty much same as PvP probably on the healing side

P.S
R.I.P resto/elemental PvP shamans!

I would place shamans higher than paladins just because they can kite rogues unlike paladins, have infinite slow downs and spell interupts, and they have massive mana regen.
Only downside is low armor but it isnt that low and with resilience maxed out it is pretty close.

And if druids keeps dominating the arenas I think more paladin/rogue+healer and paladin/warrior+healer teams will appear.

Yea shamans got their knockback, so even if a rogue shadowsteps in on you, you can just knock him back and frostshock him.

But rogues will go mutilate now instead of lolstep.

Isnt lolstep a trainable skill?

However, i do think that Shamans have become alot better in arena now.
I just wish they would return to their former glory (Pre-tbc)

Dunno. Maybe they changed it in WOTLK patch.

Shamans was way overpowered before TBC until warlocks got their buff.

Was anyone able to get a copy of Wrath of the Lich King whilst it was available to download from blizzard? They've taken it off the site now and you can't do it any more =(

#1035785 by unknown[8443] at 2008-11-12 09:19:13 (4 years ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

Rumour has it 711 was selling copies early in the us today so many we'll see it online soon.

I'm curious how they're going to clean up today's mess on us servers. Wonder if we'll see a roll back.
