WotLK to be released on November 13 2008
That's it, the WotLK release date is now definitive and the game will be available in store on November 13 2008. The source is an advertisement on Wowhead, which also happens to be an official Blizzard fansite. It means :

    * We're now 2 months away from Wrath of the Lich King
    * Patch 3.0.2 will probably be deployed on live servers very soon, probably in mid october.

so what to prepare until WOTLK in game wise..?:

+ Herb your way to 375 (check)
+ Finnish 25 high level quest but wait to return em until the lanuch (half check)
+ Have over 3k gold
+ herb all the low level flowers you can get (check)
+ Good gear on all your charcters (noooooo)

You need Cold Weather Flying in order to use a flying mount in Northrend.
Blizzard's official response is that it allows people to better experience the new zones, without flying over content.
You need to be level 77 and either do a quest or pay some 700 gold, it's not finalized yet.

So, there's no special need to start saving gold now, reports say you earn around 3k from 70-77 quests alone.

Yeah I know, but powerleveling profs/getting enchants is expensive. So.

Gonna have to make a difficult decision when WOLK comes out. Play on my T6 geared s.priest or continue on my ench shaman on a different server with no guild..

I hope I find a nice girl before WOLK comes out ^^

I wonder if the DK's are any good to reroll to. I've been playing on the WOTLK beta but you start in the DK area so you really dont get any experience against other classes. Anyone here playing the beta and duelled some other classes?

u have to grind mining by just mining in areas you can,just mine in the area your currently questing in or if u have a 70 buy ore from the ah and smelt it down to gain mining lvls if u cant be bothered to go round mining urself. Engineering im assuming is also a grind with the mats required to lvl it up

I'm lvl 66 currently and just changed profession! do u have any idea on how much ore I need to smelt to gain to x skill? I wouldn't want to buy too many hehe

as your 66 u wont have enough gold to lvl it up fully so i wud just buy the cheaper ore from the ah like copper,tin and iron Then when your skill gets higher head to the lower lvl areas and mine from there. Once you get to mining skill 300 its easy to get to 375 then as there is loads of fel iron and adamantite ore in outlands.

edit: Once you get to 70 and want to farm for gold head to silithus and mine the rich thorium veins in the bug lairs, you get 2-3 stacks in like 30-45 mins (no exaggeration)

2-3 stacks in 45 mins doesn't sound like a whole lot tbh :/ i made 75g yesterday in 5 mins doing a lap around nagrand for motes of air.
