lol, no, he doesnt have any pvp, season 1 epic - he is pure pve monster.

P. S. PvP sucks! my shammy has 330 resilience though, can't get higher then 1700 ratings, maybe i dont play enough =p

Hey guys, a WOW noob here.

I downloaded the WOW game and therefore have no authentication key. Which you need to create an account on wow europe.

Question is; do i have to buy the box or can i buy the key alone from a website? Which websites are good for this?

What about the bruning crusades update? Do i need the box or can i buy some kind of key again? What key for this?

It's really no need to buy the game discs since you can download it for free at wow-europe.com. And if you want a account i dont know if you can just buy it online from their webpage, if not see if you can get someone to send you a 10-day trial and then just upgrade it to a normal account, this way that person gets a month free gametime aswell

Edit: On second thought it might just be burning crusade thats free to download, but if you know anyone that has the game discs just borrow it from him instead.

get the originals, if u actually get into the game no point in risking the DAYS you'll have spent on toons by not being able to get a new patch or get banned for having the wrong copy.

You can get the whole game from the wow site... including the original wow client. Sign up for a trial and it will give u a link to get the original client.

I just got this crazy thought out of being bored: perhaps I should get back to WoW.

But that idea got smacked hard because:
a) I don't have a singe 60.
b) I do NOT want to spend my life playing that game... I'm a casual player.
c) Is there any point in making new chars now that the whole thing's got 'raised' to 70?
d) I don't have the expansion... in fact, I heard it's pointless unless you have a pimped out lvl 60.

So... any thoughts? Should I dismiss that idea as bad and a sign of brain damage or what?

lol wherever u got those ideas, they failed u terribly..

im lvl'n a 55 right now and am allready in outlands killing mobs with terrible gear getting mad xp, and lvl'n to 60 is fast as hell now. so ofc theres a point and doing it now means ull have something to lvl for expansion and u wont be terribly behind in gear like u would be at 70.

me in s3 gear rapes the balls of people in s1 or raiding equivalent.

so i have been playin trial and am lvl 11 after 7 hours gametime.

Where can i purchase for the real copy? Under account management it says i need authentication key and it wont allow me to just purchase one...

I am afraid you cannot buy an authentication key online, i do however know of a good site that sells retail copis at cheaper price than in the store, but since this would probably be advertising, you can PM me if you want the link.

if u wanna raid only and your bad, and no one knows u... yea the loot will be bad and no one will give a shit about you. that ofc refers to end game raid loot, if its a good guild they'll prolly let u get loads of t4/t5 stuff cuz most of them already have it.

for pvp on the other hand, u CAN get awesome gear faster (COMPLETELY DEPENDANT ON IF YOUR GOOD/BAD) and without having to be in an awesome guild or be popular amongst the raiding tards. I'm packing s3 gear got my s3 weapon the second week of s3 and i absolutely destroy people only playing alot with under ten different people, and hardcore with tops 5 people that are as good as i am. ( arena is gay with people that make mistakes)

in some cases and classes u can raid successfully with pvp gear. i can do quite well in the dps charts with full s3 gear when i raid which is rare as hell since i hate it.

comes down to skill, and what bg your on. bad bg's i can push 2k arena rating in an evening, while bg9 it's hard as hell to get 2k in weeks sometimes.

Just a quick thought:

If you are saying that you don't want to spend a lot of time playing WoW ( i.e just playing as a casual ) , and you are starting a new character now, I would be willing to bet a penny that WotLK will be out before you get to see a lvl 70 raid instance...
Just throwing it out there.

And also, raiding is NOT (only) about getting loot.
