Well if you can find someone to sell it for that much sell it. Recently someone bought a BT geared hunter for $10k. People pay crazy prices. But then again, BT gear is only worth it if you want to raid. It's garbage in PvP and a waste of time.

For the asking price you're getting:
The gladiator lock. Full PvP set/trinkets/etc. Gladiator 310% mounts for both S1 and S2. Maxed out arena points for next season.
The Mage level 63 (Grand Marshal).

It's a pretty good deal considering lesser geared, untitled locks are currently going for anything between $600-800.

I don't know if this is true (and it probably isn't), but if it is then it's just beyond sick.
I would have a hard time believing $1000, but 10k? I mean, just the gear for sure isn't worth it. It will be 100% worthless if not by 2.4, then by WotLK, obviously. On top of that, you will not be able to put that gear to any good use anyways since you won't get in to any decent guild. And if that wasn't enough, you just payed $10000 for a huntard, the worst class in the game! Seriously.

No, you can use PvP gear pretty effectively in raids. Unlike PvE gear for PvP.

Also, if you like scripted encounters where you hit 3 sequential buttons for hours upon end, so be it.
I tend to find the PvP environment more dynamic and fun. Plus, I am pretty sure PvE died with the expansion pack, it's all about arenas now. ;-)

second: titles nor gear mean jack shit to me as i'll get them myself.

third: sucrets acct should be worth alot considering what it offers.

fourth: i myself would be best off getting a green'd out 70 cuz all i don't like is the leveling part. and i ghetto poor.

Especially if it is a pvp character.
No matter what class it is.

Character worth = items it has, and pve items are worth more, your current gold amount you own.
And PVP gear is welfare, easy to get.

A rogue got sold before for 4000$ since he had warglaves from Illidan.

A frshly 70 with shit gear could be easily sold for 100$. My guess is a gladiator leech would maybe be worth 3-400$. In merciless some more. In vengeful Im sure you could double it. But 1000$ seems a bit much...Tho you do have a 62 mage, that aint worth nada theese days:p

Got offered 500 euros for my account which includes hunter in karazhan / craftable epics + lvl 70 pally and mage in blues / random epics.. So nothing special on the chars. (went to t5's with hunter.. too bad I'm the unluckiest man alive when it comes to drops

)

Although i didn't sell it, i don't play the game at the moment either, but i dunno if I'm going to start again when wotlk gets released. And if I do, I don't want to level a char from 1 - 60 -> 70 again

(done the 1 - 60 6 times now)

PvE pays imho.

You can get a great deal of cash with good gear, just need to find the right buyer.

Both pays in the end, the arguement of who pays the most will never end.

someone who wants a pvp toon buys guess what... a pvp toon. i bet there willing to pay quite a bit of money for season three shoulders and its damn hard on bg9 to get 2k.

been selling 1850 personals for 1k gold, and its nearly impossible to sell a 2k personal cuz its so competitive up there.

if u think 2k is ez get off your terribad server, i went to a terribad server to test the difference and i got 1950 in the first session.

someone who wants to be bored for 5 hour raid runs can buy there pve toons...

gratz and lucky you .... we have killed Illidan about 6 months ago and i'm rly bored some time now (playing atm about 4 hours per week max)

also i'm pretty pissed about many changes that came recently ... all about boring arena (nothing but glorified duels imho) and e-sport crap, good old battlegrounds are the real pvp ... and don't get me started about all the stuff that will be available through heroic badges with 2.4 ... after all there is rly no point in farming instances for months (learning encounters is fun but farming gets rly boring pretty soon)

since we already killed the first 3 bosses on the ptr i don't know if i will stay for the whole instance or freeze my account til WotLK.

and it seems like i have auto god mode in bg's..

hard to find stuff to keep me interested atm.

edit: only thing left is trying to lvl my mage up to 70 got 21 lvl's to go but its getting boring, just want another toon lvl'd up for wotlk as my war is ez mode for pwnage, wanna get a little contrast.
