Personally for a mage I'd go for Gnome but that's just because I've been an undead mage before. UD got WotF orc got anti stun human can see invisible for 10 sec and dwarf got some anti stun/poison thing if im not wrong.. the rest of the races dont have anything... Imo Undead got the best special but they are the most ugly race in the game.
