While waiting for diablo i saw that there was a TBC trial on my account lol(havent played since 2007) so i activated. Still al lvl 43 but fuck its fun and ... TIME CONSUMING ..thats why i quit. So any point in starting playing again ? Theres like fucking 5 expansions and im still at vanilla -_- lol
I just do instances with my lvl 43 tank for exp, fuck questing :p

I havent played this game in about a year now. I left due to the amount of time it takes to do shit, and if you are doing a raid/pvp. the amount of time you sit there and have to wait for others. especially in raids. Not a fan and sitting and waiting while some single mom's kid is screaming int he background and 24 other people are waiting for her to go because she is one of the main healers.....

So my buddies sent me this scroll. I have 4 characters all 85, so i made a warrior and got a free 80. I got some gear, i made my specs, my buddies were all on and we were gonna run a low level dungeon.. And i stood there.. and waited.. For 15 minutes for them to do whatever they were doing. then go for a smoke, grab a drink, take a shit, ect.
Needless to say, it expires on saturday and i wont likely be playing that game. i made my free 80. i wasted a good hour just standing there in game and not likely going to log back in. I kinda deleted it from the computer again.

Ill stick to my LoL. I click play and i play. I still have to deal with the rage kiddies, but i find them entertaining and simply mute them.

Scrolls got a lot of people back, but for how long? . . . .

Damn I wish I could have joined a guild like yours. If I'm gonna raid at 8,fuck I'll be there 5 mins early, with all my buffs ready, an I expect the tank to charge in at 9 and everyone ready.

Every guild I have been in, raid starts at 8... half hour later, ok let's get buffs, ready check.... some retard's not ready, 10 mins later, ok ready check we're all good, pull, tank dies. some healer, or offtank: fuck sorry wasn't ready.

An hour later, finally get to first boss, and spend 20 mins going through strategy, and then still wipe wtf. I hate all the retards that ended up playing the game... lucky for me I don't play any more.

The one guild i ran with was perfect. If you were not there 10 min early you were replaced.. if you went afk longer then 10 min you were replaced.
My IRL friends who played were the worst offenders.
Regardless, too time consuming. ill go shoot people in CoD and run a quick LoL game and call it.

Yeah, I love ninjas. Especially those in LFR who queue as healer and come in PvP DPS gear + spec to snatch the healer stuff

Last i checked i didn't "compare" anything.
Made a comment based on personal game play and consumption of time vs actual enjoyable (imo) game play.
I enjoyed WoW when i played it. the 7 day free trial got me a new 80 on an account i wont likely play again.

Then don't raid? Been playing retail for about 2 years total and I never raid, lol. I do each raid once (some never) just to see the content, then never again. Mostly because handling 10 people is a pain in the ass, nobody ever knows the fights so they have to be explained each time, and if you wipe once then people start leaving.

I usually do about 10~20 dungeons per day though.
Press i, join click the "Join" button, and start killing shit 30 seconds later. Meh.

I just hope they integrate the raid finder better in MoP and make it so it's actually farmable like dungeons. imo they need to casualize the entire fucking game; make every raid have a "LFR" version with crappy loot, remove the loot restrictions (Like LFD) and open all the raids up.

I like raiding but I'm too anti-social to keep myself active in guilds and joining pugs in Trade Chat takes too long or they're fail groups. Being able to hit 1 button and have the game matchmake me into a group AND teleport me to the raid instance, is nice.

In my opinion, 10-man raiding, rated battlegrounds and a bit of arena are the only semi-fun things left in this game. Find a proper raiding guild, they dont need to be pro, but if they are decent, they generally show up at raid day and in time, which makes things a lot easier and more fun. Dont look for a pvp guild, usually good raiders are skilled with their class and more mature so they usually are also good pvpers. It's not rare that they organize rated battlegrounds and arena as well successfully. Most good raiding guilds on Defias Brotherhood EU also had their RBG/Arena team with at least 1.9-2.1k rating, which is more than enough rating to make things interesting pvp side too.

edit: nah raiding only works when you got your stable ~15 man group, no pugs, but making a few friends in OTHER raiding guilds on the server helps a lot in case theres a spot to be filled

If you dont call what WoW has become now "Casulized" find a new game, its now horrible, you can roll your face over the keyboard and complete a dungeon. And i thought wrath was bad... If they make it any easier they might aswell just give you loot before you start the dungeon and call it complete after everyone clicks join... -..-

The dungeons in Cata are significantly harder than WoTLK at this current time in the expansion. I never CC'd a single mob in the 2000+ dungeons I did in the last 6 months of WoTLK yet my groups in Cata will CC 1+ mobs in almost every pull.

Only ever wiped in WoTLK when someone went AFK, I can't count how many times I've wiped in the old Cata Heroics already. Grim Batol really jumps out in my mind... That place is a nightmare. Don't even get me started on ZA/ZG.

It's different in HHoT's though.
I had this discussion on the official forums and decided a "Nightmare" dungeon mode would be nice, a 5-man difficulty for premades/guilds that is harder than the normal heroics.

Something weird happened to me today, someone activated my WoW account with 30 days... Race changed my warrior... Stripped all my chars.

I dont really care since I havent played it in around 7 months but... why would someone pay roughly 40� just to get their hands on around 30,000 gold...?

Yeah, got my acc hacked some time back when I was on a long break. After I reported it and got my stuff back the hacker had left me 10k extra gold to boot

So all in all not a bad experience since I was not using the account at the time.
