Yea I think they are doing it just to keep the subscritpions up during the period of 4.3 - 5.0. While deathwing is dead and theres nothing to do up until the new expansion, people will take a break and play all the new great mmo's that are coming out. This way, blizzard keeps their subscriptions even if they take a break. Pretty fucking smart of blizzard actually =).

I'm tempted to buy it because of the wow beta invite. I'm already set to buy diablo 3 collectors edition so the "free" diablo doesn't effect me at all. But I won't be playing wow until 5.0. So I don't know :z seems somewhat wasted months. But I need the beta!

Someone decide for me..

If you buy the Diablo Collectors, it will count as a few months on the annual pass according to Blizz, so it'll be cheaper or somehing like that.

"What if I purchase the Diablo III Collector's Edition?
If you decide to purchase the Diablo III Collector's Edition when it's available, and then choose to add your Collector's Edition license key to the Battle.net account associated with your existing World of Warcraft Annual Pass promotion, you will receive all of the benefits associated with the Collector's Edition, plus receive four months of World of Warcraft game time which is eligible towards your 12-month subscription commitment. After you purchase the Diablo III Collector's Edition you just need to input the product key into the Battle.net account associated with your World of Warcraft 12-month commitment and that account will then receive the next 4 months of World of Warcraft game time for free. For example, if you already had a month of game time on the associated World of Warcraft account when you input your Diablo III Collector's Edition product key, it would then be 5 months until your next subscription payment was due."

So you get 4 motnhs for free on the annual pass if you get both that and the diablo 3 CE

it is annual monthly subscription, so you pay ~13 euros every month for a year AND get free full-version of diablo 3 (which I would have bought anyway for ~35euros) AND a cool mount for all in-game wow characters

not a bad deal. and i love pwning noobs with my ruthless frost death knight anytime

Yeah I'm not really interested in the extra gametime you get from entering the collectors.
I won't be playing until the next expansion anyways, and the only thing I really need from that deal is the beta access ^^. Gotta learn all those quests before release right!

So I'm not sure if its worth it geting the annual subsription.

I do hope they disable it for Pandarens/monks or something for, like you said, the first weeks.
Did they do that for goblins and such though? Or maybe that didn't matter since it wasn't a new class?

FYI
Pandaren have been made as concept art since wayt back in 99 by samwise and was in WC3:TFT so it's nothing weird about it, they were also supposed to be the alliance race back in TBC as well and have ever since been a talk of discussion among the community of when they would appear in WoW.
Pet Battle System is just a fun thing tbh, atleast the people who collect those pets can have some fun with them now, since they won't really be of any use in real battles.

) Not really any surprice that it was the pandaren expansion this time. Ever since mmo chapion made that "1 of april" easter egg with a pandaren in it I knew he had the info about it.

Anyway, it wont get me back in game. Mainly coause it's the same thing again, only this time they only needed to do it halfway, i.e one class for both factions and just one race. "freedom" of choosing sides, pff. Sounds like it's just an excuse for doing a halfarsed job. What would be intresting would be a crash between the sides of factions so it would split up to maybe 3-4 sides instead of just the horde and the allaince.

Killing the same enemies over the same old grudges for 8 years just get's old...

although this is just my view

I'm sure that's what everyone during World War 2 thought as well.

In all honestly, it's more than 8 years, the war between the alliance and the horde have been going on for (lore wise) like 20 years or so, maybe even longer.

Hey guys, and sorry in advance for being kind of off topic.

My friend decieded to quit playing wow before d3 comes out. However he want's to sell the gold he has gathered over the years. (not sure about the entire sum, but its quite alot)

Does anybody have any experience in selling big ammounts of gold?

(I am aware it's against the game rules)

That's the whole reason why Blizzard tied WoW with BNet.
