DK isn't like warrior, but giving them a battle res is like giving a warrior a battle res.
Having them able to summon a ghoul from a dead players corpse (with the player controlling it) makes sense. It's a Death Knight, a commander of undead armies. Giving him a battle res does not make sense, in any way shape or form!

It doesn't make sense, nor will it ever make sense in any kind of lore they will say they made up for a death knight to revive a living person.

Also, we are allowed to complain about this as much as we want, it's called criticism and it's what creates and changes games.

EDIT: the rage of people when someones class get buffed really amuses me, besides this aint ground breaking at all, more CR allowes for better chances in raids and that's good im my books.
and as for arenas, well I doubt it will be useable there anyways, look if this thing really make you unable to sleep at night just roll one? like cmon

ah the lore, come the lore is all fucked up already since belves pallies, gnome priest and wtf...

youd think a death knight is someone who controls death, our death gate and whatnot...? which means controlling a corpse and tell it to get back to the fight makes sense as well, maybe they come up with a zombie debuff for this raise ally or something to avoid making it bit too op (in the eyes of the whiners)

then again, other classes can res and do dmg as well at the same time, they dont even need to spec as healer to res and can be dps just as well, so i dont see the resistance about this

How is giving them a battle rez mean they got buffed? LOL! They actually got nerfed with that, using 50RP and wasting GCDs will gimp their DPS. Nobody complains about buffs and nerfs, only about retarded decisions that have nothing in common with the game.

THe problem is that a death knight controls the dead, not the living.

I guess people have forgotten what it means to be unique, sure it's all great for you bad people in bad guilds that every class can do everything, but seriously. Why should they even have different classes if that's the case, and it going more and more towards that kind of game...

who gives a shit if the dps gets gimped for a second? lets say your healer or tank dies and theres nobody around other than you that can combat rezz, you gonna continue dps and not try to save the raid/encounter instead?

well in theory by raising an ally you do control death since the ally has to be dead in the first place...

While I agree making classes all alike is bad, I dont find this particular ability (if it passes, which i doubt) out of place DKs being already able to raise other stuff and also being casters (unlike warriors), you silence a dk he can't use half his abilities. So let me repeat, this ability would be weird and totally unexpected, but not out of place.

It would be out of place because a death knight does not bring people back to LIFE
THey ressurect them as undead, sure, but not into healthy living and breathin humans, taurens, gnomes, whatever.

It is out of place, and it's fucked up and wrong.
It's just as wrong and fucked up about undeads being able to be priests.

in fact, it will probably come with some undead debuff on the player or maybe for alive for just a short time etc, i doub itll be a clean ress

. None of you seem know that there is a 3 res limit in raids nowadays. Meaning you can only use three resses per encounter. That means druids combat ress, warlocks soulstone and shamans anhk.. and now Dks combat ress. In a 25man you have atleast more than one warlock,more than one druid and more than one shaman. This just give the raid another 2-3 people in the raid that are dks to have this skill. It's not needed but its there.

You are always on ress cap in a 25man raid anyways.
I can see this as a great thing for a 5man or maybe a 10man guild. Again becuase "bring the player not the class". But for a 25man player, this is just a wasted addition to the class. Breaks the lore alot about death knights and the scourge.

So why exactly do you care about the ress at all? Seeing it only affects PvE, since you can't use it in arena.

That was the dumbest thing I have ever read. Well you can't really mention anything because everything in an mmorpg can change. So why even care about the changes that comes every week/month when they can be changed in the future?
Why enchant my gear now when I can just wait for the next expansionen and enchant that better gear? Or the next expansion.

Malavoglia is right, why care about this change when it can be changed in the future? maybe rogues get combat ress too, I wonder who would do that... malavoglia?

Tbh, i don't give a rats ass about the usability of it in raids.
It's just stupid to give a class like DK a combat res ability.

It doesn't feel right, it's fucking up the point of the class.

I'd much rather see Reincarnation changed instead to being able to be cast on people like Soul Stone, since that would make alot more sense than making a Death Knight having it.

Yea, I'd love to see how WoW would like without people like Boubouille running MMO-champion so people can post feedback, or PTRs so people can post Feedback or even TotalBiscuit with his vlog where he brings up player concerns about the game.

I'm fairly sure Blizz don't read these forums for feedback, but that doesn't mean we aren't allowed to whine about the game.
