This has nothing to do how much easier the boss itself is than 25man version, he even said it himself  "This post isn't really about tuning per se". Undertuned is the word. So while you are whining about 5man bosses, there is an entire bigger world that focuses on the rest of the game's pve. Get there and try it out for yourself.

The pope saying that religion is real doesn't make it so. Think for yourself for a minute.

10 man heroic will always be harder since you got less faults to make, less people, more teamplay, class based etc.
More slack on 25 man.

Me whining about 5 man bosses? The moment I gotten my gear to get raiding I never went back.
Rofl, I whine about whole WoW itself that became a kiddy casual game nowadays.
Noobs whine on WoW forums, boom, things nerfed.
I hate that aspect making everything easier. Especially stupid PVP nerfs that affect PVE.

I used to be in one of the top guilds as well before I started having more a real life.

I played a lot of MMORPGS, dating back many years - known and less known (those who arent Blizzard that pull kiddies with mass advertisements)
WoW is the easiest of them all to play, level, quest, raid.
WoW doesn't got any other content available at max level other than raiding and if you cant raid daily, you end up with stupid casual guilds raiding 2-3 days in week and still suck.

WoW has lost its touch tbh. Give back old Vanilla style raiding with attunements etc and no tokens and shit. Than you can easy find out who are the good players and so who to play with. Instead wasting time.

If I say wow is a joke nowadays, its true. I am a elitist that goes back from Vanilla and beta !
Pope = all btw. There is only one, must have a reason.

No it`s not. It`s an opinion. When you`ll be god or pope maybe it will be worth a damn. As for 10 mans being harder...

You have no experiance in it whatsoever. Not the least heroic 25/10 experiance.

The hell do you know : ). A Vanilla player would know that 10man cataclysm heroics didn't exist in vanilla . Meaning you have no experiance at all.
And sinceyou have no experiance of any of that, you have no saying in it. Therefore your arguments are invalid and false : ).

I don't talk about how easier it is to fly a jet over a jumbo jet. Because I know nothing about it.
But here you are, not flown a bit and saying that something is easier than the other.
Even when players with a million times more experiance than you tell your otherwise : ).

Fun troll!

Where the F does he say that 10man existed in classic WoW?

Edit; quote mistakes.

so here I'm again, still not playing but soon will be, by next week ill be home and I can play yet again.

Though now, I put some thoughts into it, my online time every day will be quite limited, so I'm actually thinking of buying a 85 death knight and go straight to endgame, the only problem I see is that I will miss out of the learning expericnce of leveling.

New content I'm not that intressted of, I have a few friends that are 85 already and I jsut want to play with them, do old raids, get the hammer, thunderfury ect ect.

So my question is, just need some input, how safe is it to buy an account from someone else? Should I do it or should I level one myself and just take the grind like a man?

Take the grind like a man, don`t cheat like a 12 yo. You say you have friends, they can help boosting you so it won`t take that long.

oh please, don't give me the moral of cheating in a computer game. For me, time is more valuble then being all "correct" and unfotunally I don't have all day running around looking for x amounts of questitems.

If you buy an account you have to expect that you will lose it sometime in the future, the original owner can get it back whenever he wants.

#1379769 by Snuffsis (Power User) at 2011-02-21 12:30:31 (2 years ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

Yep, i sold accounts earlier and took them back 3-4 months afterwards. It's really easy and they can't do anything about it.
This was before the battle.net shit came though.

if u buy an account and it gets hacked ure shit out of luck coz u cant prove ure the original owner, and as other have said ppl tend to take back their accounts.

#1379973 by Chill (Power User) at 2011-02-22 07:58:56 (2 years ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

yeah well it's the taking back part i'm worried about. I'm looking on a swedish website called blocket.se. Sure if I get hacked I can't prove that it's my account but with a email switch and if I have all the details there should be fairly easy to get it back.

Now, I'm not sure how this works, but, scamming an account back or taking something back that has been sold in sweden goes under the swedish law as a criminal act. If I get a signed contract ect (or a parents sign since most seems under 18) that should be enough to work with the police as something stolen, if I also have all the contact info there should be quite easy to frame the guy no?

It's maybe not something that the police would maybe put the biggest prioroty in but with enough pressure and a legal binding contract (wich I can set up) it should be easy to atleast get the money back and give the person a real scare

Or maybe I'm wrong?!

But then again, what timeframe are we looking at to get a dk to about 350+ itemlevel, is it something that can be done in say two weeks or so?

Been thinking about it and it seems like such a fucking hassel and then maybe you run into the real internet heroes like snuffis

#1379974 by Snuffsis (Power User) at 2011-02-22 08:09:11 (2 years ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

Doesn't matter. the User agreement, which is a contract everyone "signs" when you login the game, states that buying/selling accounts goes against this contract. Swedish Law can't do anything about it if someone takes his account back in this case, even if you sign a contract with the seller (which would require a lawyer and stuff to make the contract legally applicable as a contract).

I'd say stay away from buying accounts. Sure you can change emails and get the cd-key and stuff. But you cannot change the name, so the original owner just need to send in a photo of his ID and he gets his account back and you can't do anything about it, because if you did report him, you'd openly admit to violating the EULA yourself.
The worst that would happen is that Blizzard would ban the account being traded, nothing more really.

Love it how you think it`s ok for you to cheat but bash Snuffsis for cheating himself. Hilarious man.

#1379977 by Snuffsis (Power User) at 2011-02-22 08:32:44 (2 years ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

Haha, it's not cheating when playing by the rules.

Also, i was young and greedy, i wouldn't rip people off anymore, the worse i'd do now (and have done) is actually buying gold.

I'm not even sure how you can compare them both as the same thing?

#1380055 by DrouGluiN (Power User) at 2011-02-22 16:33:15 (2 years ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

Yes its a scam. But who do you scam? Stupid people! How are you supposed to buy something that a person doesn't even own in the firstplace?

Quote:

No Ownership Rights in Account.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY HEREIN, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU SHALL HAVE NO OWNERSHIP OR OTHER PROPERTY INTEREST IN ANY ACCOUNT STORED OR HOSTED ON A BLIZZARD SYSTEM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY BNET ACCOUNT OR WORLD OF WARCRAFT ACCOUNT, AND YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ALL RIGHTS IN AND TO SUCH ACCOUNTS ARE AND SHALL FOREVER BE OWNED BY AND INURE TO THE BENEFIT OF BLIZZARD.

Thus, you now know what you were getting in to, if you still deciede to buy an account - just stupidity nothing less and nothing more. U can get your money back via paypal probly tho 45days or w/e..

Yea, but people don't use paypal here in sweden usually, it's mostly a meet up and they trade the account at a local internet café, that's what i did anyway.
And paypal has agreed to crash down on sites selling golds/accounts, so i don't think they'll help you with account trading stuff anymore.

Why on earth would you need a lawyer to make a contract legally binding in Sweden? Or did I misunderstand you?

The contract, afaik, wouldn't hold up in court if you haven't gotten the contract approved or something. Maybe that's changed but that's what an old friend of mine told me, or he was just wrong.
