Honor and other points are usually reset when an expansion hit's the shelves anyways.
Not saying that is the case this time but it seems likely.

Hey guys getting this annoying error when i log in : Unable to validate game version. This may be caused by file corruption or the interference of another program.

Tried allot of things even reinstalled twice.

Any ideas ?

It got to me in a dream last night, I was playing a druid. Woke up from it and thought to myself, fuck yeah, I'm going to roll a druid in the expansion. So unless a major nerf or them being unbalanced as fuck in the expansion my choice is now clear

Oh come on, like paladins aren't fine! I even got beat in ICC by a shadowmourne paladin, that's terrific! Holy power = brainsurgery now for those who haven't tried other classes though, gahaha!

So I just started with wow AGAIN

And I have no idea what to play, it's worse then the other two times, I'm just blank. I know I dont want to play mage since that was my last char, I think DK sounds cool, but need a lvl 50 for that. Hunter doesn't appeal that much to me and tank isn't my thing. I played druid on lvl 60 and found out that I really liked the healing aspect of the game, but grew tierd of it after a while. Started lvling a warlock some time ago, thought it was cool, but didn't fit me, for unknown reasons. Anyone have some input that might make me choose a class

Wierdest thing happenede just now. Was outside Org just looking at people pvp and alla of a sudden I die. I run back and ressurect, boom I die again. But this time I think I saw a rouge doing it. How can I get killed even though Im not on a pvp server

When has it ever taken Blizzard 3-5 patches to fix a broken class? The death knights were overpowered only because they were NEW, they can't go to some references. "Oh so this is how you do the DK class, okay, let's try that in the big book of Blizzard!"

It seems to me that you don't look hard enough at the evidence of Blizzards opinion of class balancing. Did you see how fast they fixed fire mages? I logged in on the same day the patch went live, and what do you know, the next day Blizzard had nerfed fire mages. ALONG WITH 5 OTHER CLASSES! Because they were just too overpowered.

If you want to play an overpowered class and can't stand being generalised, this isn't the game for you. There won't be any class that will be overpowered. Blizzard hotfixes everything, even in your case underpowered things, because they have worked every single thing out for cataclysm at level 85.

Another thing struck me aswell, if you're going to be leveling a druid, I don't think it's going to be a 3-day leveling like in WoTLK (2 days 1-60 with LFG tool, 2 days 60-70, and 2 days 70-80). I believe that the 1-60 is going to change, and you will stop to look at other things, side-quests, aka NOT powerleveling. If being underpowered really bothers you, you won't notice it until at level 85. You might even find out the class itself isn't comfortable playing.

Cataclysm Launch event is an event of 4 phases (I think) that will finally lead up to the destruction of Azeroth. It started small with some earthquakes, continued to Doomsayers and cults arising, and now (third phase going on) the elements attacking the main cities.

Right now, every 2-3rd hour (unconfirmed), there's a battle in Orgrimmar / IF (I think, maybe SW? Horde player here) whereas you defend your city and if successful you may use the LFG tool or a big portal to strike back at the elements.

Elemental Invasions

* Guards will try to evacuate citizens, low level players can also use portals to leave the city before the attack.
* You first have to deploy sandbags/barricades to help defending the city.
* You will then have to defeat the elementals in all the districts of the city, Orgrimmar is damaged badly in the process and most of the buildings are on fire.

* After successfully defending the cities, you will get a chance to counter attack by entering the huge portal in capital cities (or using the LFD tool) to fight mini-bosses in 4 different instances.
* The 4 bosses are Grand Ambassador Flamelash in BRD, Crown Princess Theradras in Maraudon, Kai'ju Gahz'rilla in Zul'Farrak and Prince Sarsarun in AQ20.
* The bosses only appear at the end of the elemental invasion after you succesfully defended the city, you cannot queue for them all the time.

Man is it as lame as it sounds?
Im open minded to it but it seems like a rehash of all the seasonal type events. I was hoping for a more epic feel like the AQ open ceremonys and all the build up to that, guess i have to get used to lame ass devolpers nowadays :S

I recently tried out my chars after the patch and I have to say fury warrior was most faceroll.
Still not sure if I'll buy cataclysm but guess I can spare 40� on the game and a month of gametime.

Arcane mages still. 2 buttons to do great DPS. +4 more buttons to do the best DPS (evocation, mana gem, mirror images and arcane power CDs).

130k arcane blasts on live right now isn't even anything amazing. In VoA25 I managed to do a 93k crit on it, it's my third alt aswell. Mages are just a joke right now.

Finally, they fixed inspection! According to the notes; I haven't been ingame yet.
I assume all the other class tweaks are in effect now.

My druid got nerfed.

I guess the class changes will come in a later patch.
None of my talents changed yet.

Druids needs to be nerfed. Critting a 35k heal without treeform, any buffs at all with regrowth isn't normal..
