People going for AoE for raids are silly imo. Bosses are singletargets so focus on that instead.
But yea, clearing trash faster is always nice.

its pretty much same build/dmg, its only a slight difference in rotation between 1 target or a group

@Kpoof: yeah it's basically all about spamming howling blast and obliterate on procs, as I said that's the highest dps, but unholy is very close...and ofc if you prefer to play as unholy (i do) just play as unholy since dmg difference is small, you still be the top dpser in unholy

finallly i got up to lvl 48 yesterday and im not a 24/7 player i have some own issuses that i cant play so often..
i guessing until the cata cames i think ill be up on lvl 80

Granted, I haven't looked closely at the talent trees for all the classes post patch, but as far as I remember, the best leveling spec for mages has always been fire...

i aint comfy with fire and i have my water emlentry guy with me and so i can just bang it hell out them

im PvPing to and thats good frost what i know fire just imnummed me with few mobs wich was irrating so i switched back to frost..

Killing murlocs with frostbolts is awesome, only takes like 32 of them each, at least the ones in wetlands, can't remember if all have high frost resistance.

DK can kill pretty much anybody yes, except good Paladins maybe... since patch 4 they can do some nice damage even while healing O.o, IMHO they are the most OP at the moment, not only they can heal very well, they can do huge crits too.

Frost for leveling is best IMHO, much higher survivability once you're leveled a bit, shield & snares help a lot. But with fire you kill mobs faster...if they don't kill you first. Arcane is also viable using slow, I like it, lots of damage but mainly single target. (leveling solo eh)

I didnt know if you were talkin about DK or Mage in the end there until I saw "Arcane" :p but yeah Pallys can be pretty Op aswell, but Im just lookin at DK as a baby class for the players who doesnt know the game that well or something :s dunno, lol

Such silly talk, i dont play the game anymore (quit after Ulduar) But this always irritated me when i was on my DK. DKs were awesome and probably overpowered, definately overpowered in LKnaxx before the DW nerf (no idea how good they are now) but they did require a decent amount of knowledge to be played well, i played WoW from the start and i tried many different classes and imo the DK required me to be most active and it was most sensitive to errors out of all the dps classes i tried.

I have raided with the following: enhancement shaman/elemental shaman/resto shaman, rogue with many different specs <- these two i have raided lots with. I have also raided some with priest and mage. And imo DK was the most hectic if you want to maximize effectiveness.

I always thought Blizzard intended Paladins to be that since they go around with some huge armor (shield), excellent single target heals and even some crazy dps now (even ranged! shockadins? had some topping dps meter, wasnt playing DK though).

Well, that kinda proves that we`re different right?, I havent started lvling a dk until now. But I`ve tried my friends DK on a dps dummy without having any knowledge about dk at all, and I was about 30 or 40 dps under what my friend usually do but it doesn't  matter we`re all different and we all have our certain knowledge about each class and the game itself.

This, DKs might not have the hardest rotation, but with no knowledge it's impossible to be close to maxDPS with DKs, they require some screwed up rotations atm.

Dk's don't really have a rotation, it is priority based.

Having lost my HDD, I'm wondering what is faster:
a) reinstall WoW using the downloader
b) reinstall from old DVDs and then patch it up

I suspect it's a), but I'd love confirmation...

Probably a) since the client is up to date.
I'm not sure how they handled patching, but i suspect you need to apply them one by one, since the latest one probably doesn't contain the previous ones. However, if the latest one takes care of the the ones before it, option b) would be faster.

Hey, could anyone recommend an EU pvp server? Me and a couple of friends are gonna try it, going for horde, so we need a good server... by good i mean that there's enough people and the horde:alliance ratio is okay (the more equal the better i think).

I heard Stormscale is great but it seems to be full a lot, or is that not such a big problem in WoW? (played it once before but only for like 2 weeks)

Outland EU is worth checking out, less horde than alliance I figure but plenty of both.
