don't think it's possible to close an account. your account will be Frozen when the game time you have expires, dunno how long the account exists though. But send a mail to Blizzard and ask them, they know this way better then me, i hope xD

At first they thought to delete inactive (frozen accounts) after half a year, but things turned out to be so profitable (WoW is ubah popular ;d) that now they're just gonna keep the frozen accounts --- along with ur profile --- in their database.

So if you wanna go back to ur addiction you can....

If you just stopped paying via creditcard or gamecards your account will be frozen, as mine is. However if you canceled your account, everything will be gone -- profiles, account name etc.. If this is the case mayb wait till the new expansion and start all over with a blood elf

But Im sure I would go back to my old rhythm. When you do go back you will be in MC/BWL again, which isnt just a "few" hours. Moreover you have to compete to even earn items in those instances.

Bleh tbh Im quite done with those games, making a character better and better, look cooler, get better spells, more xp, more ingame status. Games which are less addictive (and not as "real") like Call of Duty / Unreal Tournament / whatever. It's fun - you can be in a clan/guild - it doesn't make you skip school or work :d

Some friends of my little brother got hooked as well. One playing quite regularly as most ppl do, and the other literally screwed his last couple of months. He got a gf, got dumped, and is now playing non-stop. You can laugh about this, but sometimes he says he cannot go when a friend is asking him to go out and grab a beer with some m8s.

I even downloaded fewer movies when I was playing WoW coz I never really watched them anyway, and wanted to play as smoothly as possible :x

BTW to all ppl out here who can keep themselves together, WoW is a greaaat game

I got completely sucked in during the week of WoW stress beta. Nooooo social life, and just about drove my roommate insane. When it came out for real though I had enough perspective to play when I had freetime and not let it interfere with other stuff.. but when I knew I only had a week to get in as much playtime as I could... It wasn't pretty. :-P

Have since fallen out of love with it and now play maybe once a week for an hour or two just to chat... but I agree with the poster two posts up.. it can be seriously addictive especially when you first start.

Not really, the US game is 2.6 Gig... I downloaded the PAL with patch 1.6 and that was 3 Gig

so downloading this one would be just as big,

When i had my SM/Ruin build i took down almost every hunter i met. But now with Demonolgy spec, it's another story.. :p

Shaman is better for PVP.
But yeah, hunters rocks :p Can easily deal 3000+ damage with the first 3 shots.

Yea we are really nice, love SS + HS + 0.5 sec pet summon.. sometimes :p
