Your best bet is then to be carried by a friend or guild. Your GS is way low, you are not capped and you would probably not even break 5k dps

Not to be rough with you but WoW is an elitistgame nowdays and you need to be topped to compete. Atleast better geared than the leader of the raid. But check the link, when I played combat was the most viable choice, might've changed. It will change with the 4.0.1 patch no doubt!

OK, first off, when I asked for raids, it doesn't have to be ICC 25 heroic. It might as well be ICC 10 man normal.

Why do I say this? Because a lot of people in game told me that "yeah, you could work on your items, but it's not that bad" (or something similar).

Also, I was always under the impression that Mutilate and Combat are very similar in terms of DPS, and if there is a difference, it will probably require another batch of good gear to be actually notable. Than again, this is only what I remember from playing over a year ago, when Killing Spree was crap.

Yeah, no, they were lying. Heck, before you get expertise capped you wont be invited to any raids whatsoever, it's like 1,5k dps increase just to get expertise capped for you

I was talking about totc10/ICC10 aswell. No one will invite you to a 25m raid with those stats

Edit: Ok, checked your armory again, it was worse than I thought. I'll go through it step by step and help you upgrade =) Give me a sec

Get Expertise capped, it will be the best upgrade for you at the moment. A great way is to get the trinket from totc from champs. It grants a huge amount of expertise. (26 is cap)

Switch one of your trinkets, the proc does not stack, IE, they can't proc at the same time. And if one procs, the other one will be put on ICD (Internal CoolDown, can not be seen without mods) a great choice would be [Shard of the Crystal Heart]. You can then sacrifice a shitload of hitrating

Put a [Nightmare Tear] in either your chest or feet. It works as any color and will enable the setbonus. In redgemsockets use 20 agi gems. In yellow gemsockets use 10 agi 10 haste. In blue use red 20 agi gems.

Enchant yer bracers.

This will make you raidready =) Upgrade gear with these things in mind.

I like soloing old content on my DK, maybe even get a binding or two out of MC before its too late ; D

plus its decent amounts of gold. ragnaros drops around 100, others 65ish, some less. and selling the loot.

I'm on al'akir... we have a lot of horde, and by a lot I mean 99% of the server. alliance has migrated or rerolled. so did I, 4 years ago.

and @ Kpoof, I really don`t care if its common or not, there`s a reason I`m doing PvE more than PvP and that is to experience the lore. I`m not like the other newfags that see the kingslayer title as a bonus to their gearscore to get into pugs.

Alliance, got a 80 orc shaman too though that I played a bit before I decided to take a break.
I've gone by the name of Aeoria on my druid (which I've played most) since wotlk, maybe you've seen me around.

every once and a while i wish i had no life and could play this game again like in college. the little i know of cata it sounds pretty cool, most importantly the PVP changes.

was told rated bg's and some other stuff, that will create a much more accepted pvp culture with pvp guilds again. i don't really know though for sure as i don't play, definitely don't have the time anymore.
