we're getting closer none the less. According to fansites the release date is november 2nd. I wish I could participate in the events before the release but I having a hard time seeing that happening.

Still trying to decide what to play, but warlock or hunter or priest seems interesting. I guess we have to wait until the actual dmg numbers are being finalised and how it will pan out.

archaeology looks so fucking awesome though. I will definitely go for that.

Well, I don't know if this is the full Cataclysm I'm downloading, but the interface is clearly changed, as are the levels (new spells at odd levels... if memory serves, it used to be even levels).

I'm playing a new character as the character copy service is currently unavailable.

The minor things i said was meant as things like spellbook changes, the new "helpful tip" pop up's they introduced, they way you are notified about new skills you can learn or when you level up and so on. The only real major changes so far are the class changes and the way you get talent points.

Ohhh and if you see someone flying in ORG, they are using a bug to do that.
Also if you have higher/max settings set up you probably wont see any water, as they haven't included the new effects. Just turn your water display setting to low or play without the water...looks a bit weird though, playing without water that is.

None of the huge world shattering stuff is on the PTR.

Well, that was somewhat devastating. And here I thought I'd get to see at least a glimpse of the Cataclysm content. For free, no less.

Ow well, I think it's finally time to dig out my Visa card and play some WoW; it's been a while, and I kind of miss the RP world (not the regular servers, those are pathetic, as there's absolutely NO immersion and you're left with a pure grind).

Do ToC 5, FoS, PoS, HoR on heroic mode. They'll drop some good upgrades for you.

when I log on to my character, it loads the whole city and some characters, then freezes up, disconnects from server, and sets my router to limited connectivity? :s anyone knows why this happens?

definitely rolling a hunter after watching this vid http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=122825 . even if it's pre-cata and pre-nerf survival it really makes me miss the hunter play style.

Although this is one of the best pvp movies I ever seen, had me smile sometimes because of the incredible use of survival mechanics!

I had this problem after changing my router settings, can't remember for sure what it was I did but I believe it had something to do with the Firewall / Port forwarding.

I play on Outland but I'm still waiting for Cata myself too.

Very good server if you like full pvp servers, guilds that go from hardcore to social and everything in between.

Played WoW when it first came out, sold my account. Then I started again when burning crusade came out, Sold my account yet again. If I want to try out Cata now, do I need a new copy of every game or just cataclysm?

Ok, So I`ve finaly got to encounter the Lich king both 25 and 10 man, without succeeding. Did not manage to down him at 10 man due to few healers and 25 man was still to hard

Want that title sooooo badly!

and play card, try places like base.com or other EU stores, some sell it for less than 20�.

i wonder if they will do a newer "battle chest" all included when cata comes out? maybe it would be best to wait a bit

actually you can get all pretty cheap aswell at offgamers.com a goldselling/powerleveling company but whatever, I've used em so many times I can't even count, and very secure and reliable. Got wrath from there when it was released, much cheaper than in the stores ectect.

Haven't tried 25m yet, but downed him with a pug last night after a few tries. Really easy, p1 just remember to dispell plague close to the adds, p1.5 burn spirits, p2 keep alternating between standing in the middle (for valks) and spreading out (for defile). P2.5, go back to where you were at p1, pop BL, and burn spirits. P3 spread out, melee on raging and ranged on vile spirits (a warlock with SoC is awesome here). Other than that just burn LK down. And don't fail inside frostmourne ;p

I know I'm still not completely epic, but the two instances: PoS and FoS are being bitchy and just won't drop the gear I want (I've been doing them for the past week... at least FoS, as PoS, heroic, had a requirement I didn't meet at the beginning).

Your best bet is then to be carried by a friend or guild. Your GS is way low, you are not capped and you would probably not even break 5k dps

Not to be rough with you but WoW is an elitistgame nowdays and you need to be topped to compete. Atleast better geared than the leader of the raid. But check the link, when I played combat was the most viable choice, might've changed. It will change with the 4.0.1 patch no doubt!
