I've had the same problem, solved it by buying some extra RAM

On a moderately populated server you will never be able to enter the AH-capitals (via hs or whatever) without ur fps dropping like crazy. But some extra RAM (I use 1GB on a laptop) will shorten the period of you scolding/molesting ur machine. I think it was about 3 secs waiting for it to catch up with all the ppl walking around, with 1GB you shouldnt be really annoyed when entering IF/ORG.

AAAAnd you will be able to do some serious duels outside ;DD

As the other guys pointed out, that glow-effect (sometimes it bugges when swimming) should be disabled. It even looked bad imo, gaussian blur hiding ur wep -.-

Meh, don't know if it's said already (i'm too lazy to scroll through 11 pages ~_~) but there's an add-on which allows you to set custom gfx settings when you enter different areas... I quit wow some time ago, but I remember seeing it.

Quick question for the Alliance playing.. what would be a good grinding area for a level 31 NE druid? I'm thinking Desolace but since the Horde outnumber the Alliance there I don't think I could grind there too peacefully. The other option would be Alterac Valley, but I've never been there before so I don't know how many Horde there are there as opposed to Alliance.

STV (Stranglethorn Vale) is THE ganking place nr. 1

You wil gank and you will be ganked there if you quest there. But still, there are som many and damn good quests!

damn getting fed up, rank 10 on pvp, now working more late shifts so cannot afford 5hrs aday it virtually needs to keep the rank and get 11 for the mount.

not many do the last 5man dungeons and end game stuff so dont really do much anymore.

few months at lvl 60 and it all gets dull.

omg do you need to play 5 hour a day to keep a rank?
I never gonna have time to play that much except when its summer...
I have school for 8 hour then i get home, eat something, go to the gym come back within 3 hours, then i have to do my homework and normally i sleep after that. I've only played about 3-4 hours this week.

why can you lose a pvp rank? O.o
Is it bacause just some few % can be high ranked?

Well if u don't keep up with the rank u r auto demoted.

also at rank 10 it gets harder to gain rank and remember u r fighting against the rest.

i used to have to keep average of 50-70,000 honor a week to keep progressing up, at rank 10+ it seems u need 100-200,000 honor a week.

so basically need to play very very often and win.

hard as have to queue average an hour to join a pvp battle.

oh well, may not get my rank 11 mount as quick as i thought (if ever, lol)

60%. i get about 100-130k a week. can easily get about 50k honor a day... o more. if i really PvP in AB 24/7 and do guild raids in AB also. thats really nice honor

Your honor wholly depends on WHAT you play (BG) and with WHO.
I got an easy 100k honor per week with my druid, which isnt really a good PvP class (ur not killing as much as a warrior would, but having a druid increases chance to win the game > which is honor itself).

I think I got to rank 7 or something... The other PvP-devoted ppl got wayy more honor than me tho (I was trying to do some PvP + MC runs). There was one particularly good PvP-guild at the horde side.
They owned the shit out of all Alliance PuG's. And didn't have a hard time winning from the Alliance pre-formed (guild) groups, coz of their status. "enters game, oh its those guys, fukit lets afk out and fight another group" (otherwise this game would take too long, and ultimately this would reduce ur honor-average).

They got at least 200k per week on a regular basis. In the end, when things got really messed up, their leader (Natuko) got 1000k in a week.

Now that was a nice story itself, but we can learn from it that if you play with a good pre-formed (well balanced) group. And stick with each other, doing more games. You will eventually get really good honor

Ofc you need to find some good pplz first...

I have a question: When you've closed your account and want to activate it again a few months/ half year later, will your profiles be deleted? I mean I have(had) a lvl 60 warrior and 40 mage and want to continue with those. Possible?
