Go casual?
I used to play hardcore, but it just as fun to go casual and chill with PVP, a couple of mates and a good pug run.
Some alt-leveling aint booring either.

Seen this topic thought i would say hello and add my toons, realm in case anyone plays,

Have a 80-Orc hunter*Tommychong*(beast/surv), 80-Paladin*Althe�*(tank/dps), 74-orc warrior*Cheechm�rin*(furry).... I also have a few other lower lvls(druid, sham, priest, warlock) all above lvl 35 warlock is 58. I play on Quel'dorei server wich is a part of the Emberstorm battlegroup. I am a member of The Necromancers guild. I have been playing wow for about 3 1/2 years now and TBH running on empty with the game now lol but thought i would add my info in case any on my server then hit me up

well well. I have to say both yes and no. WoW was an excellent time waster when you have no idea what the fuck to do. Now its just random surfing ect. It's not like I have found something better to do

I dont do much good stuff, BUT it still feels like one step up from idling in orgrimmar or Ironforge now doesnt it?

I hope if I stay away long enough I get my spirit back and general imagination back aswell.

me neither, and indeed wow was great for killing time... i mean really, really bashing the brains out of time itself with that game, but did we enjoy it? i think not, id honestly rather find something creative to do, or just move on to a singleplayer rpg like dragon age, to kill some time? and then off to another singleplayer since new games are released all the time.

@Warfare yeah, lol i spent like 4 hours per day jumping around in dalaran.. this isnt a joke

Yeah same, and 4-6 hours raiding 3-6 days a week. Spending 50% of my waking hours in that stuff.

I feel you guys. I left when naxx was still the name of the game, and when you cleared that a couple of times, and got the 3 drakes down and maly 8 min blabla it was just dull. Left it yet to pick it up again and play some pvp with my rogue, great but not enough fun. And then you realise that you are standing in dala/og/stormwind doing fuck all.

But yet again I feel the temptation to drag another toon to 80, was leaning towards a hunter or a shaman (or another paladin /palm). I really don't like single player games, I'm all for mmos. What I really really really miss though is star wars galaxies. I played that from the release to end of combat upgrade and I was never fucking bored, there was always someone to talk/craft/pvp with. ah the times

I give it a month or two or until the release of cataclysm and il be back to that dreadful game world of warcraft. I just can't resist the thrill of mmos (and the lack of decent playable ones is a joke)

edit: warfare, haha have the exact same feeling. Can't wait to play a goblin something or a tauren paladin, that will be fucking IMMENSE, and to see something else while levelling up the 1-60 levels should be fun as well!.

nah cmon guys you can resist it, there shitloads of stuff that can be done instead that are alot more fun than playing an old game from 2004, i mean the game is shit. it looks terrible, the graphics wont change in cata either :I you just have to realize that its not fun, all i played for was new gear tbh and when i had all the gear i could possibly want except for a few togc25 items i didnt know wtf to do, and i realized how hard the game sucked.

edit: wanna level? will be the same shit that you've done all those other times, you wont enjoy it, wanna pvp? it wont be fun, youve done it too much, new pve content in cata?! zomg!! well, you will be bored of it after the first clear and end up jumping around in the new capital city of cataclysm!!!!!

yeah I know. though I'm not much for graphics anyway, it doesn't matter if the content is good (which in this case it's not). But you know, it's always fun with new content/expansions, new chars and playing with a bunch of good in real life friends doing casual playing. I really like that. And as I said, i hate single player games

HaHa pretty my thoughts at the moment, being playing WoW on and off since release..The early days were the best by a mile, BG's and 40 people wiping in MC =)

Still WoW has lost its way some what, remember when Epics meant hard work!
Blizz always open new servers for expansion so I thinks thats the way im going, Goblin shammy on a nice fresh server =)
