Thats usually how it goes..
I stopped playing for about 4 months and just started back in again.  More PvP though with my warlock.. and thats a blast!

I recently cancelled my accounts, including my gf's, due to severe tiredness of the game really. I was at the point that i just logged in to browse AH for hours and not really doing anything, cause it was all so boring. And you know what... i dont really miss it. I miss my friends sure, but hooked up with most via other means now so np. What hit me most was how many quitted in my wake... strange how possibly bad a game can become when a friend or 2 drops out.

3 years in and i doubt i'm ever going back. No regrets tho

well duh, its called mmorpg for a reason, playing one without friends is REALLY boring.

I left wow about 3.5 months ago, am not missing it one bit, except my friends, they just keep on playing it, I mean there are many other games out there that can be played together as well and have fun, I just cannot get them away from wow, it is like wow is their second life.

I just liked the pvp part of wow and the occasional outdoor pvp events, arenas suck because too much stress involved for very little to no reward at all.

Instances and raids we're fun in the end, but there's just to many people that fuck up boss encounters, leaving you stranded at the same stuff for weeks, and people saving rolls for items that drop from final bosses when they still have ways to go for their starting gear.

And they keep changing rewards and emblems making all the hard work put into your char for nothing, grind grind grind, then regrind the same shit again for new items, lol.

I'm not sure if I wanna play cataclysm, but I already know my friends will try and persuade me into getting it.

right so. I'm good tired of my rogue. I tried it, I enjoyed it, but it wont hold. I did the pve, I did the pvp (which rocked most of the times) but the class just don't fit me.

So here I am once again in a pickle of "what class to choose". With the incoming eu realese of faction change I'm left with 2 choices, warlock or paladin or I could level my mage from 70-80.

So, the paladin class is one class that I love really much though I played it sooo long now. But destruction warlock is something I'm really interested in. But from what I've seen is that they got burst and nothing else. My rogue eats them, beats them and eats them again. well any suggestions or inputs? :S

I really can't decide.

All depends on  your play style..  Pallys are the Easy class in my opinion.  THey rank right up there with death knights..  You like the melee play of your rouge, the Pally is kind of the same with more survivability.. 
I personally play a Warlock in PvP.  And yes, we are all burst, fear and burst.  Yes Rouges can eat us alive if they catch us off guard, as well as if the rouge is on someone else our burst can pretty much be fatal.

Im waiting for the next expansion to make my rouge..  they look like fun but a bitch to level up.  My buddy has one and just hit 80 and he sucks.  He gets booted out of heroics because he is low on the dps.   I think he plays as Combat for PvE and a Hybrid for PvP.


For me in game, i got bored of trying to PuG into stuff as my Warlock.  He is geared but everyone usually plays DPS..  So im now back on my Druid Healer/Tank and i have no problem finding Heroics/Raids now.  Just need to get better tanking gear and ill be happy..

Hey has anyone ever had this happen before? This is confusing the hell out of me...

Our account is a Battle.net account with 2 accounts merged into it. The second account hasn't been played since April, when I let the time run out and did not renew the subscription.

I always had the main character on that account on my friend's list on my other merged account.
Well a few days ago while on my single account I currently am paying for I noticed my DK from the other account was actually online.

I'm thinking what the fuck I am not even paying for that account.
So i logged out and quickly tried to log in with my second account and it let me in no problem. I logged on the char that showed was logged in and was in Storm Peaks (level 65 DK was in Storm Peaks??). Anyways I kept logging in and falling through the map and kept dying over and over. When I respawned it was not at a graveyard but another random part in Storm Peaks.

Than I would get D/C'd. I would log back in and again be falling through the map.

Anyways I went into my account management page and looked at the account and noticed someone had put a 1 month recurring subscription on there with a CC that I did not recognize at all. I quickly canceled the subscription.

Anyways the account is still active cause 1 month was paid for using that subscription and here is some other things I noticed:

Inventory is FULL of saronite ore and titanium ore
Mining profession is 450/450 and according to the achievements the character went from Journeyman to Grand Master in a single day (Wtf!! this wasn't my doing).

I quickly changed my password after canceling the subscription on that account and haven't had any problems since.

Anyone have any theories what happened? My friend thinks a gold farmer but why did they not touch the second merged account which had 100x more stuff on it..

Your friend is correct. Saw you were still using one account so used the one you didnt use in the hope you wouldn't notice.

Tested out lock now. Love the crits, although it's strange that I don't reach more then 2k dps, when it feels like it should like 11k

Anyway, I reckon it will be the lock, or rogue, or paladin (got slaughtered on the battlefields by, well everyone) Although 0 resilience kinda hurts.

LMAO 0 Resilience does kinda hurt.  Im almost at 900 on my lock and it helps huge, although i need to get in better gear as if i run into someone with lots too, my sp is a bit low..  Need to upgrade gear, just been using the druid too much..

yes it kinda did Activated the rogue again, and well it's fun and all but you know, I've been thinking. been playing the same game for 5 years now. I reckon that wow having a hard trouble offering anything that I haven't done before at this point.

My guilds is currently on Anub'Arak taking him to 15-20% consistently. It's such a fun fight with the adds and the chaos of Phase 3 healing. Also it's quite a big step-up from any other fight in the game I've encountered thus far. Kiting spikes is so much fun too!

We actually have 2 more Hard-Core guilds on the server. No way we're getting server firsts with only 3 raid days versus 5 raids days of the other 2.

Playing the AH works fine, Boubouille even posted a guide on MMO-Champion.

Beyond that, selling Vanity pets from the AT can make a nice profit, Jewelcrafting/Enchanting can turn over a nice profit if you have a few rare recipes. Alchemy if you're lucky with transmute procs.

Other then that, straight up farming. Herbs and Frost Lotuses are at all time highs on my server due to more and more people raiding thus wanting to use flasks. I've been keeping myself above 10k gold easily and cold make a lot more if I could get off my lazy bum... or get on it rather.

Playing the Ah is always good, but there are so many people doing it now its really hard to find that cheap item before someone else..  That being said you can get lucky.  Last week i landed 3 Noble decks on my server for 650 gold.  They usually sell around 6500+.  someone forgot a 0.  3 times..  so i scored..

Secondary stills are always good for Cash.  Gathering herbs or ore always sell because they are always needed..  it is just time consuming to go and collect.

Alch. is always another good skill.  Selling pots and your transmutes is quick and easy money

i stopped playing with the prepatch to wotlk, but i managed a friends account when he was on vacation for 3 weeks
and it was prtty much the same as it was back then
just be smart on the Ah

collect a stock of things that are commonly needed
buy if its cheap
start to influence pricing
until you finally "own the market" for one specific thing
of course there are allways others, thats what keeps it entertaining
but if you see wow as some kind of economy simulation
and put a little effort into it
you will be able to obtain more gold than you can spend

he eventually starteed selling, because 120k gold just can't be put to any real use
and we're stoners, i mean like, big time
if we can do it
