Yes!. The New Update has the BitComet-esque File Selection Feature. No more annoying Right Clicking :thumbsup:

That was in 1.3.2 betas allready.. i didnt like that cos the "Save as" field tends to remember old torrents location and just add the folder after it (this was in the build 391 and 395). hopefully they've removed this "feature" by now.

uid=12345;password=asdkjad at the end of the url, or equivalent.
- Feature: Wildcard matching in RSS window supports ?* and |. I.e. you can write Foo*|Bar* to match strings starting with Foo or Bar.
- Feature: Ability to not put computer in standby while torrents are active.
- Feature: Multi scrape.
- Feature: Speed Wizard
- Change: Try to detect hacked bitcomet.
- Change: Scheduler limit doesn't apply if in turn-off mode.
- Change: Show a more informative message if tracker is sending invalid data.
- Change: Changed queue algorithm for fast connections to work better when there's disk overload.
- Change: Tweak some settings
- Change: Print additional info to the log in case there's a "element not found" error
- Change: Add folder name when adding through RSS
- Change: Connect a little bit more aggressively to peers.
- Fix: More robust detection if µTorrent is already running.
- Fix: Better detection if BitComet clients threw away my requests.
- Fix: New algorithm to minimize the number of waste pieces.
- Fix: Added some clients to version decoder
- Fix: Tweaked performance on high speed connections
- Fix: Disk Overloaded feature wasn't working right.

Seems like 1.4 causes some problems for me. With 1.4 download speed won't go over 10 kb/sec and with 1.3 after few secs it hit max speed available.

I think thats not a bug but a feature.. if you limit your upload to under 5kB/s it wont let you DL over 10 on 15. I think this is good.. it reduces hit'n'runing.

Most of the time I'm on slow connection but from time to time I have chance (uni) to seed much faster. So I rather just leech @ home and seed @ uni. Does that make me hit'n'runner? So well that so called "feature" sucks kinda

Still, i get the finished % problem.
When a torrent is finished downloading, its 97.5% done in "Files".
I cant even open the downloaded file, i have to stop the torrent and then the % bar changes to 100%.
Then i can open the file, it's kinda annoying.

Nice features adding, but is utorrent still not using cache strategy to reduce disk access, and consequently not to damage your hard drive ?

Just disable the worm protection thing, it's wrong 90% of the time anyway.

Ive add the RSS Feed in uTorrent (http://www.torrentbytes.net/rss.xml) but when i Double Click on a release it brings up an error: "unabled to load details.phpid=12345&hit=1"!"

any ideas? I'm guessing it should download the torrent when double clicking a link...

I've also tried it with the direct download rss link and have same thing.

I disabled it for now, but once the bug gets fixed i`ll turn it on again

Anyone have any exaples of how to use the "run a program when the torrent is completes" feature?

The reason I am asking is because I am looking for how to make my server send a messege containing the the name of the torrent, telling me when its done. I am thinking of using the net send command. Anyone have a solution for this?

arggg !!! plz help!!!

i'm trying to start a download...it starts off fine...

then out of no where an error message pops up sayin Torrent Error: (file name) Access is Denied
In the status is reads: Error is denied

nothing was wrong before i reinstalled windows...and it automatic updated...

plzz help!

XPy: The settings are stored in %AppData%\uTorrent

Anyway if are going to use it on the same computer, you dont need to that, just click the "check for updates" on the "Helps" tab.

@jyap, make sure that is not running another client.

@XPy the settings are in Documents and Settings\%user%\Application Data\uTorrent\settings.dat

copy that file and do whatever you want

after the update i cant download at all, it just says tracker status: offline
great freakin update!

Using the same ports, no firewall on my local pc.
