This client just keeps getting better and better! As of the 1.4.1 beta releases, µTorrent has enough stability and features for me to ditch BitComet permanently. The reason why I didn't switch earlier was because previous versions had fluctuating upload and download speeds, but those problems seems to have been resolved.

µTorrent had enough features and was stable enough before it got to version 1.0.
Is there a negative side to utorrent? 'Cause I've installed it a while ago and was blown away, I had been using ABC till then, and it ate CPU and memory like a... um... like a CPU and memory hungry beast, yay. And now this client, it's, like, teh awesome!!1 And I can't believe there isn't a dark side of it. Like the devil coming and eating my soul or something like that.

I am i µtorrent fanboy thats for sure, but when i try to think of something bad about it i cant find a thing And i really think it is the best client available, so seems the community.
I'm a µtorrent fanboy as well, used to be using Azureus and hated Bitcomet ever since it excisted because it is a cheat client.
Switched to µtorrent because it was smaller sized and uses so much less resources, not that the resources matters me much since I have 1.5 gig of ram.
µtorrent will become better and better, just hope they don't add too much features on it - don't want it to become bloated.
Would be nice if they add modules (addons) like what Azureus has.
Getting some great speed,

(and no I did not limit my upload speed.)

Azureus has Swing Web UI. Does uTorrent have anything like that yet?
uTorrent doesn't feel as "robust" as azureus to me.. for example azureus's little upload/download bars adjust their numbers each time you change the settings so that you can choose in little increments or large increments around your current settings... thats neat....also the collection of plugins is awesome. I especially like "AutoCatagorizer" which helps me keep my TBytes/TDamage/BitMe torrents seperate.
The new Az 2.4.0.0 looks sweet too

I used to be a very long time Azureus user, bet people from the old Torrentbits still remember that.
But µTorrent is better in my oppinion, cleaner - all the features I need - less resource usage.

Lol how do you get so much uploaded/downloaded? I dont mean in terms of connection, but like, if you have 1TB+ downloaded, are you just downloading every single torrent on the site lol? Do you actually like EVERYTHING? Haha..
I only had ~50-60gb up/down on the old TB
P.s. Utorrent owns

Does uTorrent works trough proxy?, like bitcomet does? Not just the tracker connection
There is hope to works like bitcomet? This is the only reason why i dont use uTorrent, because my internet connection is a proxy connection
Hmmm how about cache thingie that BitComet has? That suposedly saves your HD from strain? I had terrible expirience once when one of my HDs died and took 80Gig of stuff with it.
Perhaps BitComet cache thing is just a gimmick but I wonder is there a similar feature in "µtorrent"?

can anyone tell me if utorrent already has transversal NAT bypassing.. i am at a university network with a NAT and have no control over it.. so only people that i download from can download from me.. no other people. and thats a pitty since i have a lot of upload here and my ratio gets killed here...
would be nice i know bitcomet has got it but i cant install apps here so utorrent would be awesome. using burst now... but can't throttle download or cant get passed NAT so very few upload connections
otherwise i hope they really implement it soon in utorrent

You could install BitComet at home then zip all the files and extract them at school, and there you've got BitComet. I don't know if µTorrent has that feature though.
