Fixed the node problem.
But does anyone know if i can make newsleecher download every thing i download into its own folder.. Right now it only puts each group in its own folder, thats better than NZB-O-Matic wich did neither.

go to "options" then go to "download"
and make sure that box is unchecked

ok. so im downloading some stuff.
its the complete package. all the rars .r**s .pars etc etc. yet when i go to repair them they always need more blocks.
whats the deal? and most of the rars seem to be differing in size. im using fresh like two hour old nzbs off of nzbrus and cox's retention is like 10 days...
It all has to do w/ the service. Cox just might be a bad service.

the nzb file maybe fresh..but are the files in the nzb older than your retention?
and is your isp completetion rate good? b/c most isp completion rates are around 60-70% good
for example "jumanji" was just posted today..but in actuality the files are 11 days old:
So, is this newsgroup thing nothing for our swedish friends?
Im just guessing since none of the swedish guys have posted in this thread, yet.
Or am I way off here?
ty
well you damn sweds have those uber upload rates that make torrents somewhat more managable since you can easily upload the ratio of whatever you download faster than most of us can even download.

But if you have downloaded 8GB in ONE YEAR, I can do nothing but agree with you...
Maybe my question was not clear enough:
Can you use newsgroups from Sweden?
And if so, is it a good idea?
I have just ordered a new internet connection @ 25 Mbit/s... and I am looking to get the most of it

hmmm it seems if after newsleecher annocuned the beta, super search works on cracked versions now
I think the author opens it up every now and again becuae once you use it you realize how good it works and shell out the $30 for the 1 year subscription
Yup, well it's a good strategy, worked on me ...
I paid for Newzbin access (two months' worth, I think) but SuperSearch is much faster - with .nzb sites, you have to wait for people to upload the .nzb's, but SuperSearch lets you find stuff as soon as it's up. It's just a matter of knowing WHAT to search for, a system I'm still trying to perfect. ATM, I'm checking TB2, TL, and Pisexy for 0-day stuff, and then searching for it using SuperSearch - but I know there has to be a better way. I mean, there's really no rush, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to grab stuff as soon as it's up ... Any ideas?
I us TehServer for my superserch keywords. They are superfast in listing the nfo name of the releases as soon as they appear. If you are looking for porn there is no better site than Ijskontje, its a mixrd dutch/english forum that ups/spots great releases and they provide the file name for easy supersearches.

Yes, a prechannel helps you know when something is out the moment it is pre'd. Most sites like TL, TB, ScT etc., are pretty quick in getting things up anyways. Almost as fast as usenet gets them upped, so you'll have to wait anyways.

I couldn't believe how good the supersearch was when it was openly available to anyone last weekend. But now it's sadly limited I'm seriously tempted to shell out for the years subscription but I saw that there were a few ppl who have paid and had problems getting it fully working again.
Had some excellent vids off groups in last few days that never appeared on any torrent site I've seen as well (Alizee )

Zen are supposed to be the best UK Isp for free newsgroup access.
