use rarslave with NL.
it will do the par2 check, repair , unrar (to same or sub folder), and delete the rar and par2 files after extraction (also checks sub folders). u can set the queue manager to do this when the queue is get emptied.
no more hours of doing this tasks.

Im from the UK and have been using newsgroups for a few months.
I use Giganews for my Server as my ISP's retention sucks monkey balls and I paid for the SuperSearch function on NewLeecher its well worth the £15 for it. btw you only pay the monthly fee after a year of using it

WOW.
I want to thank everyone who contributed to this thread, especially james211 for posting that tut, DXC for the Newsleecher 3.0 hook up, and bibi for the RARSlave suggestion ... I just installed NL 3.0 last night, and RARSlave as well ... What an amazing combination!! I queued up six DVD-Rs last night before I went to bed, and set up RARSlave to run when the queue was empty. This morning I woke up to find six folders in my download directory, one for each movie, and inside each folder was an image file - no .rar files or .par2's - just an image file, ready to burn. Holy sh1t!!!
Thank you all for your help! Newsgroups fuckin ROCK!!!
Thanks for the excelent guide, works perfect for me

This is pretty useful, Ive just got into newsgroups. Unfortunately, my ISP's server has a limit of 15gb until its given a lower priority, so Im getting speeds of 30kBs
I still cant use any other program than NZB-O-Matic because i get an error message that it cant connect to my node or something! Anyone seen this before? i can post the error message when i come home.

Newsgroups covers everything Example: you live in China, you ever seen a Chinese DVD release here?

I think the author opens it up every now and again becuae once you use it you realize how good it works and shell out the $30 for the 1 year subscription

SuperSearch is performing much better than we had hoped for, after the engine upgrade earlier today. To put some extra stress on the server, SuperSearch will be free for all NewsLeecher users (both trial & registered) through the next 48 hours. Please post a bug-report in the NewsLeecher forum if you find any problems with the updated search engine. Cheers!
