yeh i do some of the time BUT i download off outher sites and upload here and on outher sites
plus i have outher sourses that i can download from time to time

yep. did it when this site was new. I did partial downloading/seeding on new popular torrents. back then all the stuff I wanted was overseeded and I needed to seed something to get that 1+ ratio. Then after a little while I noticed that It was not needed. the stuff I downloaded to keep seeded just fine.

Well, I assume for every newcomer (like myself) at TB that you woul really have no choice but to download something you know you can seed to up your ratio statistics.

sometimes download like a part of a new torrent and then just keep seeding that till my ratio comes back

If I see something that has a milliong leechers and a few seeders, I'll grab a copy of it just to try and help/up my ratio I esp. do that if I already have the torrent from somewhere else.
