I also had that 'Your ratio is dangerlously low', but i joined for 28 weeks ago, and I got rid of it for about 2 weeks ago.. so I think you have a little time to get your ratio built up
And BTW, I got a new internett connection so now i can get to seed a little MUCH more And yes i have DL something just to seed.. But it didn't help me very much. :/, but now i see the better times.. hehe

yes, and franlky i gave up.
Ironically this site has so many people trying to get to 1:1 that sadly most people need to do this kind of stuff.
As for myself i have gave up trying to get my ratio up and just dl/ul all the time i can, if that doesn't works ohhh well eventually i'lll get kick, because ALL connections in the world (and don't quote me saying i have blabla) cause all normal day to day connections have less up then dl and at most equal.
What i'm trying to say is that 1:1 ratio is ridiculous since:
- everyone cant get that even if they try
- dl/up speeds are diferent therefore it gets unbalance
- noone should be punish if there is noone that wants the files he/she has
- the idea of us behing a free way to watch/play/etc the files we share is behing overrun by the trackers that want mega-ultra-whatever ratios of 1000% and stuff.
Anyway it's not that i don't belive in the system it's just that the numbers don;t match and the new people, the ones with slow connections and/or the ones that don't have the time to plan an estrategy to get around the system to get good ratio.... welll we just complain.

I did it a lot when I created my account : downloading only 50mb of a torrent and seeding it 24/24 for 2days or so, just in order to build up my ratio.

I agree wholeheartedly with omfglol and what they said up there ^^ Not going to cut and paste it all but it's just too hard!
I even downloaded porn much to my husbands amusement!
I have come to the conclusion I am never going to get 1:1
I get so disheartened when I come to this site...I struggle to get connectable and my ratio is so crap I am just waiting to get kicked! It's really not a nice feeling!

Yes i do.. Sometimes i download releases somewhere else, and seed them here together with the uploader I would like to keep my ratio 5+ ^^
