Ahh, nice guide...I found mine else where.  That wire block isn't necessary...You can just twist the colored wires together and electric tape each one of them if you really are desperate, lol.  Or, you can just solder them together.  Easy as pie, works very nice.  Playing emulator games on your PC with an xbox controller is fun ^^

lol, that mod looks like shit, first of all, why cut the xbox-connector off, thats just stupid, and why not solder?

i used this:

Ah, damn. If I hadn't already nerfed up this cable the easy way, lol, I'd do it that dual way. That's pretty hot.  Thanks for that guide, if I ever get time, I'll try  it that way

#430082 by unknown[117907] at 2005-10-24 19:30:25 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

dual is a really good guide for some who is gonna use their controller for both xbox and pc

They are ugly though, they are too much like the controller-S instead of the original larger more comfortable and accurate ones .

#430521 by unknown[49039] at 2005-10-25 03:33:01 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

hey i used plain old wirestrippers and electrical tape, quicka easy and cheap and works perfectly too.

its not ugly if u make it right and take a tiny bit of time to cut the holes for the wires...

i did this about 6 months ago, yes i do know there were adapters around but i had the kit spare so why spend the money, best mod i've ever done actually, really useful!!!

#431636 by unknown[117907] at 2005-10-25 23:17:01 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

tazeat since u helped me fix the throttle problem...can u help me out with another one?
when ever i play need for speed underground the controller goes weird....when ever i move around the analog sticks...the controller vibrates like crazy lol ....so by the end of my race...i cant feel my hands

do u know the how to fix this?

#431874 by unknown[30467] at 2005-10-26 04:27:43 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top

#432249 by unknown[117907] at 2005-10-26 13:17:43 (7 years ago) - [Report]Top
