Well I only had a lan party with 4 friends, it was fun but I was more interested in the beer then the screen :p
I just can't game on a pc longer then an our or 2.
Gimme a Xbox with Pro Evo and 2 controllers then I can go all night (if there's enough food + beer ofcourse )

Too bad lans turned into full blown gamer lans, i miss the old time... wheres the party feeling? Not at a gamer lan anyways!

At our school we have a CLC (City Learning Centre) which hasd around 40 computers all linked together after school we all go in and play Unreal Tournement 2004 over network, It Rulez!

Been to several. The ones to go into the thousands are not very common here. The ones that I host started at about 10 and now I have around 30 regulars. I've done about 15-20 over the years.
I'm currently the head admin of a future LAN that will host around 100. That is the average size around here.
There is also a site dedicated to helping people with there LAN parties in my state. michigangamers.com
