hmmmm, as far as I reacll I've never been to a lan party.
most of my friends suck(stop it you horny bastards) at computer games and espacily in on-line games so lan parties arent the most brilliant idea.
frankly I hope going to one sometime soon... asking my parntes :-\

Well, I'm from Finland so our LAN parties usually involve a lot of booze and sauna At least our private ones.

I like the LAN's .. I just dont like the Theifing bastards that steal your stuff when you turn your back ..

I dont really know what they are, I think they are when a group of geeks get together and hire out some computer place and play games together....If this is what they are, I really dont see the point of them. Why cant you play on the internet on a private server, from home.

I used to like them but I think once you start doing it too often it becomes a little pathetic. Playing on private servers is fun too but it is not the same as a LAN party... But I think if you are with the right group of people it can be fun. I don't really like the "commerical" ones though

I am a very experienced LAN party player, Only went to one, 1 time
But it was fun though with a few beers and so

Private lan-parties are the best, ~10 people which you know, and alot of booze. Those kind of lans are quite usual in Finland

The boys and I used to have LAN parties all the time, but now with the internet, and voice software like teamspeak and ventrilo, we never do it anymore. Nothing beats ol RPG's when u get to discuss your parties next move over a big fat smoke @ Mysterio - that is what my daughter tells me too

I've been to a whole lot of LAN parties... big and small, and i've hosted some myself,
the biggest i've been was about 200 people, LANs are awsome, if you bring some of your friends think im getting i little to old though

Don't like them, but I guess they're good for girls, cuz they are few in number and end up getting lots of attention from the boys. I guess they're also good for boys who like to meet lots of other boys.

Get a life. Evolve youre social life. You dont have to be in front of a computer, to talk with other people.
