DO NOT POST YOUR PROBLEMS ETC IN THIS THREAD, USE THE OFFICIAL QUAKE 4 THREAD IN GAMES SECTION WHICH IS MADE FOR THAT. THIS THREAD IS FOR QUAKE 4 SERVERS ONLY AND COMMENTING THEM, THANK YOU.

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS OR QUESTIONS HOW TO GET THE MULTIPLAYER GAME WORKING, USE THE OFFICIAL THREAD IN GAMES SECTION, THIS THREAD IS FOR QUAKE 4 SERVERS ONLY !

As everyone knows the best thing about Quake is multiplayer! But since we can't use the normal server listing we have to resort to connecting by IP.

So if you're running a Quake 4 server post them here so people can play

I'll keep the first post updated with a list of servers available,

We need more servers people!
ASE filter for quake 4 it still has some issues but should work with private servers but this is all that can be done without a ASE.exe update: http://ecks.shackspace.com/filters.txt

Mine should be on for a while might be a bit hitchy for a few hours since its currently running on the same computer I am using to browse the net and use IRC. Once my dad goes to bed I'll sneak a server on his comp should be more stable then

Like Anders said, the 24.37.74.247 is running fine, I'm still getting a low ping and it's playin good.

If you have CD problems make sure you done this:

Open in notepad: c:\WINXP\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Add these lines to the bottom:
127.0.0.1 q4master.idsoftware.com
127.0.0.1 idnet.ua-corp.com

I was owning it up on some server last night, 20 / 7 \o/ Now there all down, come on guys i need a fix of quake :-O
