Thx lenix for your answer... Yeah I got it.

Anybody knows exactly what 'Vsync" in the Video Options is ? It is turned off in my options, but is it recommended to turn it on and what does it do ?

i already have directx 9.0c installed on my computer, and when i try to install that direct x that you gave me i get an error that the program did not pass the tests and that it will not be installed

vsynce limits the framerate of the game to the refresh rate of your monitor so theres no screen tearing when the game renders more fps than what is displayed on screen.

Not all versions of DX9 are exactly the same, I think modifications are made occasionally.

On the first CD installation i get an error (prolly a CRC) on the audio data. I have hkSFV'd it and the RARS are fine. Any ideas?

I have tried Alcohol 120%, Daemon Tools, burning on to CD's and mouting on virtual drive....

Any help will be much appreciated.

Tried my solution? You don't have the directx problem but my method of "installing" don't require to run the actual setup. I think the post is few pages back.

yup....and i was trying to lose the cops when i had 300 000

i was so pissed off cuz at x5 they won leave you alone....so finally they gave up and i ended up in the golf course lol

Wow, the tracks and races really get repetitive in this game. I miss the tracks from Porsche unleashed and NFS 1,2,3... they had stuff like scenic courses in the alps with castles and such. Another thing that bugs me is all the damn RIGHT ANGLES, it's NFS ffs, not sunday drive in the city.

Because I'm using Anti-Blaxx which does seem to work, but my games hangs every 10secs, so maybe DT4 will do it for me. Or does anyone have another solution?

I just unplugged my optical DEVICE... AND I have clean PC!. no addonds no alcohols ... I have alcohol but I disable virtual drice.... X3, CRC, Specforce Chrome, Bia Earned i nBlood. ALL is working!!!.. Just unplug device. Try do it with starforce nighmare. Disable ex. Sec master and then unplug device. No reset no nothing.. Everything is working fine... DTools 4 is great.!!!!

but its soo much easier to get high bounty at a higher wanted-level, number 2 there is at wanted-level #4, and the pursuit lasted 10minutes, and i got 560 000.
the number 1 is at wanted-level #5, and the pursuit lasted 3 minutes, and i almost got twice as much bounty
