For the ST0N3D release.. unrar, mount all the images with daemon tools 4.0 (just what im using, probably works with older versions), install, run sd4hide 1.0, click hide, click on the game icon. If it doesnt work you either did not do everything right or theres something wrong with your computer/the release you downloaded.

DT4 system file error and sd4hide won't work.

okey, first of all... I know this has been said many times. I guess I'm not alone with this problem. But maybe someone can give me some kind of answer or small hint anyway.

So, the nfo tells me to install DT 4.0... But it won't work on my system (The system file error, big topic in the DT's official forums)... Then the nfo sais you can also use Alcohol. So I downloaded the trial, mounted the images and installed the game (copying cd1 to my harddrive to get around the DirectX error)... It first worked out fine with SD4hide but just after finishing the "intro" it dropped out to the desktop in the middle of a race. (And I had to count to at least 1k before daring to go back to the computer)

And now I'm sitting here with the fu**ing "Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"-message and none of the virtual drive hiders I've tried out works.
Guess your answer will be like "crappy computer" or something. But it's brand new and quite high performance..

But, maybe one of you have a tip of some other place where I could find some more possible solutions to any of these errors or something. Maybe another site that I've missed?

Why are you even using a computer?? And how did you get here???

Oh yeah?....only those five steps? if it was a good realese those five steps would have been enough to make it work...but not for me it didn't....first of all, my windows rejects Daemon 4, there is a debugger software that messes up my system...second of all, the directX thing was a little bit harder to fix....third of all...the game doesn't even work, not without or even with sd4hider.... so what's left to do?

EA messed that up. You obivously don't have a clue about releases...

Guys, from where can I change the speed clock to km/h ? I have mp/h, I searched in the option but I didn't find anything.

And the game is going harder and harder, I am currently #12 and found it really hard to beat the racing events.

But if I run Tutorial, I notice that in tutorial they show km/s, maybe our version is US version and the European version has in km/s..

And about winning car, I won a car already

and it is fast but the driving is really hard especially the Time missions, which you have to drive through time.

Options - Gameplay - Units - Change Imperial into Metric and you see km/h instead of mp/h

Yeah I remember I saw answer like that but when the demo got released and not the full game, but I can't search 100 pages to find the answer, it is harder than searching the options of the game :lol:

You can change the amount of cash you have with ArtMoney.

But can anyone change the Bounty with ArtMoney or something else? Is it a string :S

As requested here is my save game. One is before you take on Razor and have the level 6 heat getaway which is pretty damn good. The other is number 1 in the blacklist with 87% complete in career mode, so something still to do

This is a little tip to make the game availble in your language. Ive tried it my self and now play the game in Swedish.

You need WinIso or MagicIso for this.

1. Open up st-nfsmw1.mdf with WinIso.

2. Extract autorun.cfg from the AutoRun folder to your desktop. (Just for finding it easy).

3. Open the extracted autorun.cfg with notepad. Now it's time for some editing.

Change the line LanguageSelectionScreen=0 to LanguageSelectionScreen=1.

A bit down in the file you got all the availble languages. Looks like this.

English US=1
French=0
German=0
Italian=0
Spanish=0
Swedish=0
Finnish=0
Dutch=0
Danish=0
PortBrzl=0
Czech=0
Hebrew=0
Greek=0
Japanese=0
Korean=0
Russian=0
Chinese (Simplified)=0
Chinese (Traditional)=0
English UK=0
Polish=0
Thai=0
Norwegian=0
Portuguese=0
Hungarian=0

Change the 0 to 1 for the languages you want the game to be availble in.

Change the line NumLanguages=1 to the number of languages you activated.
If five languages you change 1 to 5.

4. Now save the edited autorun.cfg.

5. In WinIso, delete the autorun.cfg and then add your own edited autorun.cfg.
Then save the edited st-nfsmw1.mdf file.

6. Mount the st-nfsmw1.mdf and the languages you enabled in autorun.cfg will now be availble to choose from the install screen.

7. A little extratip. If you wan't to get rid of the asking for registration during the install, just change the line EReg=1 to EReg=0 in the autorun.cfg file.

To change language if the game already is installed use the specified .reg key in this rar..

Go to the showroom in this same forum and look at the Xbox low res crap compared to the PC offerings !

Xbox is sooo poor compared to the PC version !
