Wait til after blacklist 9, then it gets tougher, the cops start with choppers and heavy SUV vehicles.
When they burst into you, you'll almost land upside down.. And it's not so easy to run through the roadblocks either with those heavy SUV's there.

I think I've got four pinkslips or so. The cars you get there are so good. Better than the ones you buy. :yes:

i dont have the option to install it even though it didnt pass the windows testing, thats the wierd thing here it sends a messege only saying the program eill not be intalled

how can i make it to be installed..?

That is the heat level -- it means how bad does the police want you,max is x3
The more heat you have the faster the police will find you and pursuits will last longer and be heavier to pass
To lose the heat level -- change car or change parts(body kit,rims,spoilers etc.),or just win races and it will decrease

DID any of u guys beat (Earl or something - he's 9 on the list). i'm doing the challenge races and the first one is that speed average thing..which i won. i've been trying to beat him in the second race (sprint) for an hour and half....can't beat that bugger.

so if any one did .. tell me which car u guys used or any other strategy.

PS : i'm using my keyboard.

When you beat someone from the blacklist,you can chose two things from him
It will be some boxes with questionmarks an boxes withsome icons on it
If you chose one of the questionmarks you will get something
If you get Pink Slips than congratulations,you've got his car
Basicaly, in racing pink slips are when two guys are racing for their cars -- who wins gets both cars

^^ download the CloneCD if you have no version...if you already have the other version they are the same.

download the latest directx9.0c and install it...then see if your problem goes away ;-)

It seems that u have been disabled the Cryptographic Task(in germany its called Kryptographie Dienst) in the Services box.

Try services.msc and enable it.

But I still got the problem to update my DirectX even through windows homepage, I tried the webupdate and I have downloaded the whole DirectX package and nothing worked.

When im trying to update DirectX this message appears: "DirectX did not copy a required file" and the installation ends there.

EDIT: I�ve looked in services.msc and the "Cryptographic Services" is started and is set to automatic.
