OK, nevermind, I knew the answer. There is a Bonus DVD + ST files which make this release Blck Edition.

I am downloading this Bonus Disk right now from other site to have the full Black Edition.

PLEASE HELP! :-(

how can I install the game without reinstalling directx9.0c at the beginning?!

if I start the installer for the game, it automaticaly tries to install directx and that fails, so the whole install process of the game also fails!

I dont know whats wrong, cos I already have dx9.0c on my pc! nfs-mw demo, toca3demo, fear, Q4, sam2, cod2 every game runs fine! even dxdiag tells me that I already have the newest version! I even downloaded dx from the M$ homepage and tried to reinstall it. it always fails to copy one file..

please.. anyone has an idea..?! :weep:

Bah, the new thread got the lock, and I was expecting for answer by the time I return home

Can I somehow burn the first CD, and play without mounting?
Burning with Alcohol 120% with some profile? Anything?

I cant tell you how many times I already tried doing this!

It just checks to see if you have the latest. If you have the latest, then it wont install it.

I just noticed that theres no .r55 in CD3 in this torrent im d/l here on TB..
But some are asking for it, do i need it ??

And i have redownloaded the torrent, still no .r55 in CD3

i just did this tutorial of how to get the game to work if sd4hider fails for u, did for me so i found a way to play.

need for speed most wanted tutorial wrote:

if u cantget sd4hider to work then u can try what i did:

step 1:
download and install Anti-Blaxx

step 2:
install Alcohol 120%

step 3:
in alcohol make a vertual drive

step 4:
run anti-blaxx, right click it in the system tray (bottom right icon)
go to settings, click 'fist game'
it might ask u for game name, i just put 'need for speed most wanted' in (game name)
now for all the settings put in,
protection 'safedisc'
game 'C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Most Wanted\speed.exe' (or if u installed it some where else then u will know what to do)
select mount image
pick alcohol 120% to mount it
device (not sure what to pick but i just did device 0 as i dont have anything else mounted in alcohol)
image path to the 1st cd's mds file

then click close.

right click it in the system tray (bottom right icon) once again, but this time select 'run game> game name(need for speed most wanted)'

should just start up fine

after the 1st time of runnng it then u close the game repeating the run game part might not work, didnt for me. i just went to settings selected first game again clicked then unclicked mount image then clicked close, went to run game again and it worked fine.
