Yeah, this game runs amazingly well on low-end systems. I have an Athlon XP 1600+ (1.4Ghz), Radeon 8500LE 64MB and 512MB of PC133 SDRAM and the NFS:MW-demo is perfectly playable (around 20-30 FPS) at 1024x768 with max details (antialiasing is off, cause it really kills the framerate).

It's amazing how well this crappy system of mine runs even the latest games.

That's possible. Since my videocard is a DX8-card, some effects might not appear even on the max details.

But i'm not kidding when i say that the game runs well (and looks amazing too) on 1024x768 and max details. As unbelievable as it sounds, that is the truth.

i just tried the demo on my cousinz computer last nite....he has 512 MB RAM , 2.6GHz intel 533 fsb....ATI 9250 256 MB ....the game ran like SHIT ...it was horrible :lol:

he was getting around 15 fps average @640x480 RES and lowest settings!!

OUCH! There has to be something wrong with his comp. With a system like that, he definitely should be getting much better performance.

The 9250 is pretty shitty, and 512 ram is VERY shitty, especially for any new games. So no, he really shouldn't be getting better performance.

I first expierienced these secret settings, when I changed GeForce 4 MX 440 to Asus Radeon 9600 Pro on NFS:U2, like crowds, rain spatter, and a lot of them!!!

512Mb ram shitty? normal, mw uses ~130mb!
