It seems to happen when there's smoke visible. That's the only technical issue so far. Playability isn't very good on the keyboard. Steering feels like rotating a cardboard box around a vertical axis sticked through the center of mass. While it's an arcade game this is acceptable, but I think they screwed up with latent steering. (The car doesn't respond instantly.)
