this game rocks! but i have 2 question about

1. if i get a unique performance / body parts / visual, and i use it on one of my cars. can i transfer it later to another car?
2. i don't really remember what i wanted to ask, so maybe later

type "regedit" in start/run, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>EA GAEMES>NFSMW and change the value in ParticleSystemEnable to 0.

1. That would be NO! The unique upgrades are once off installs that you install in the 'back room' So save it for the best car you want later on.

2. I dont remember what I was going to answer, so maybe later

I don�t know about Danny�s card but I have the same card as you (Rad. 9800 256MB, AMD 3200+ and 2gigs RAM) and it�s absolutely fine. 60fps when moving at 235mph and it still stays at 50 even when donuting to make loads of smoke. Must be another problem other than just the smoke.

Great movie though, I'll put mine up as soon as I find a hosting.. In my opinion quality is priority #1 in front of a smaller file, it's 50meg and fileput accepts 25MB maximum.. On the other hand, it's 7minutes long.

The actual gamemovie is recorded by fraps, but I don't think he'll find a host where he can upload a movie of 3GB, and don't think anyone would bother to download it either.. :yes:

So he used Windows Movie Maker to make it smaller..

Yeah, nice chase... and now i know how to avoid the spike things, cuase my best chase has only got into heat level 4 but now im prepared for the spikes when they come... Thanks

the video was 1.4 GB!!!!!! and movie maker changed it to 15 mb :lol:

thats a huge frigin difference

just a few things...

1. when customizing the car on the left it says 'backroom' what does that mean?

2. On some of my cars it says i have to pay fines, how do i pay them of?

3. speedbreaker... well.. if i only want to use it for like 2 sec how do i put it on and then turn it of again so it don't waste?

4. on the police chases i can only get heat up to 3 how can i get it to go more than 3, its been on 3 for some time and kepted going and going.. and then still nothing happend.. and then i got busted

.. coz i dont something really stupid..

5. shit there was one more but forgot!! argh i hate it when this happends.. will ask later when/if i remember

My vid is 11minutes, and 3.5GB, compressed down to 70MB and then there's no blocky pictures and looks preety much like the original recording.
NOT using Movie Maker.. VirtualDub+xvid compresstion.

But I'm not gonna bother to upload it, it's really nothing good. Cops are at level 1 and later level 2, I will make a new one with heat 3 and 4.

1. the backroom is the place where all the bonus visual and performance upgrades are store and can be put on ur car...

2. Dont worry about the fines :-P

u dont have to pay them

3. tap the key that is set for speedbreaker to activate it and tap it again to deactivate it

4. u can only go beyond 3x when u work your way up the blacklist....u will get a SMS about it ...so dont worry about that either :-P

Nothing to do with the game, its just your keyboard that can't use all those buttons at the same time, just redefine your NOS key so some other key and it will work fine....

guys what's the best version of this game?

i was waiting for the dvd version so i could burn it for frends to play aswell but then the nfo says that it cannot be burnt

I have the proper version, works like a charm when installed and keeping cd1 mounted with DT4 and using sd4hide
