Does anyone know where Naruto went?
They never took breaks before but now days they do all the time, its quite irritating as they only show 20 minutes story each episode.

PS:

Could anyone recommend me a new anime I havent followed one (except from naruto and bleach) in a long time. A friend of mine was talking about Death Note is it any good?

actually this happened with naruto more than once. Every time they do it, they followed this by 2 episodes.

Death Note is very good indeed, probably best anime ever.

another anime is One piece, but it takes like 20 episodes or something to get into the anime and love it, the first few episodes are boring, that's One piece's problem

another anime would be fullmetal alchemist ... but u should finish them in the order i mentioned, before u start looking for something else to follow.

demagh I will start watching Death note, it sounds like a good anime. I saw like 15 One piece episodes some years ago but quit, I may start watching it again later. I have seen all the FMA episodes, it was one of my favorite animes, except from GTO

edit: to all the people who dunno evangelion...well thats a classic that came out around 12 years ago. A must watch, absolutely, thats why im surprised they want to make a re-make of it, it doesnt make sense really.

Edit: For people that watch Code Geass. Episode and 24 & 25 will be a double that will air in summer, so a big break of CC even when its one of the most popular animes in Japan :< Havent been able to find wich date it will air.

Try Rurouni Kenshin OVA (it's a 4 episode introduction to a quite long series, but that introduction was alot better than the actual series), it's awesome.

Hajime no Ippo was quite nice aswell, I'm no boxing fan myself but I enjoyed it anyway

And then there's Hellsing, a class anime on a vampire topic.

To the guy who asked, yes, death note is effing brilliant. Someone else was asking about animes to watch too. I'd definitely check out berserk. Who'd have thought an anime would ever fit in some decent character developement to go along with a good plot and gruesome violence? I didnt before watching berserk However, the ending is unsatisfactory as they were stopped for some reason after 24 eps :<

Anime with:
- interesting high quality drawings
- good, fast, interesting, not too deep story
- NOT romantic
- something with fights, guns, swords ... etc.

Good examples for anime i like:
One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, hellsing "OVA, the series wasn't as good"

Anime i watch when i am bored:
- Captain Tsubasa

yeah i remember berserk, watched all 24 episodes in 1 day you can't imagine how disappointed i was when i finished it, i even downloaded the mange for the first time in my life to continue reading, but it was as always, boring, so i stopped looking after the ending.

@demagh, I think you should try Basilisk if you like Naruto And some of these shows have some romance but you will notice on anidb what kind of generes they have
If you dont like to deep storylines look for ~24 ep series like GunGrave etc.

I saw gunGrave, it was awesome indeed and i enjoyed the ending very much, though basilsik was very boring from many points of view as far as i can remember. Like no character developments, slowly going through the story .. etc. Just couldn't get into the story as i am supposed to be.

I enjoyed NinjaScroll though, anyway this is a big fat list indeed you created, though, i'd like to request some high lighting for 4-6 anime series as to begin with. "something that ended already, would be cool"

p.s:
Are you sure basilsik is still on going?! cuz i saw all 24 episodes like 4 months ago or something.

What is on going is their encoding.

Some reccomandations:
Gantz was very nice imho, watch it and the manga is even better coz the story goes on.
Have you watched Nija scroll the series? It's pretty good.
Also: Planetes, Samurai Champloo, Twelve Kingdoms, Vision of Escaflowne(series NOT the movie), Tenjou Tenge, Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop (series and movie)
Good encodes are KAA, ZX and sometime a4e. For Samurai Champloo, Cowboy the eng dub is very good. All famouse animes, you should hae watched them already, but just in case, watch them. I assume you already watched Berserk right?

There are others...now i cant remember..hmmm...Black Lagoon is pretty good, all action and guns. Watch some movis like Nausica, Mononoke Hime, hmmmm other good animes are Texhnolyze, Juuousei, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Shura No Toki, The whole Ghost in the Shell franchise both movies and SACs. Then there's Mushishi, Project Arms (pretty good), Slam Dunk (now i laughed so much at this...), Hellsing. Thats it for now..
